True platformer game (with some combat) that gives nostalgia from old playstation games, but visualy very nice and new Very good story
A exploração é o grande destaque.
⭐ Minha nota pessoal: 8 / 10

Fun 3D platformer! Great movement, Extremely responsive controls, fun platforming, rewarding exploration, and beautiful world design (plus the game just looks great in general), only thing lacking is the combat is not the most in depth but the difficulty keeps it interesting for the games runtime.
A really well done updated take on the old classic 3D action platformers of older consoles like the PS2 or original Xbox, with beautiful visuals and music and giant levels with lots of exploration. The platforming is fast and tight. The regular combat isn't up to the same level but is still fine, and the many boss fights are very fun. The story and atmosphere are just what you'd expect from the visuals (that is, very straightforward and suitable for a younger audience). I wish there was a map feature, but the game already gives you a lot of value for its low price.

Recomendado totalmente.
Close enough. Welcome back, Kingdom Hearts

A Story Much Deeper Than It First Appears Despite its very colorful and almost childlike world at first glance, Duskfade tells a much more brutal and harsh story than you might expect. And most importantly, it is a story that can genuinely hit you hard. At first, you might think it's a classic story: a young boy setting out to find his missing sister. But the story takes a completely different turn when we meet the character "Despair." We begin to understand that Zerian isn't simply fighting bosses: in a way, he is also fighting his sister's states of mind, as she struggles to come to terms with the loss of someone close to her. Zerian himself is still very young, naive, and determined to find his sister at any cost. But it quickly becomes clear that as the story progresses, he will have to grow up and evolve through everything he discovers. And that's where the game does something I really appreciate: you genuinely want to move forward with him. Not just to finish the game, but to see how this character will grow. You can obviously describe Duskfade as a love letter to games like Kingdom Hearts, and the inspirations are quite clear. But in my eyes, Duskfade goes much deeper with its themes. The game genuinely deals with grief, loss, and learning how to live with someone's absence. And that's something that, sooner or later, we will all have to face. That's also why I think Duskfade won't be perceived in the same way depending on the player's age and life experience. At 10 years old, you might simply follow Zerian on his adventure to find his sister. At 20 and beyond, with some life experience behind you, you may see something much deeper about life, loss, and accepting grief. And that's probably what touches me the most about this story: behind its colorful world and fairytale-like appearance, Duskfade is ultimately about very human things. And beyond its story, the whole world left an impression on me: a unique world, a unique story, and a unique bestiary. Duskfade has a real identity of its own and never feels like a simple collection of things we've already seen elsewhere. Finally, I really want to thank the small team at Weird Beluga, who have just released their very first game. And honestly, in my eyes, you've created a true AAA-quality game in the genre, but at a small price. You have absolutely nothing to envy from the big studios. You've managed to create an adventure with a real identity, smart mechanics, a unique world, a memorable bestiary, and above all, a story that can genuinely touch the player. Congratulations on your first game, and most importantly, thank you. ❤️
yep, totally recommend, game is great, fantastic art, really fun, battles can get repetitive, not the best combat around, platform is easy but not exactly precise either, can be a bit frustrating sometimes
