The game has so much potential. However its still very early and it has to iron out a lot of usability issues and general bugs

I love DnD in vr For real
Dungeon Full Dive: Player Edition is an ambitious virtual tabletop experience developed and published by TxK Gaming Studios. Instead of presenting tabletop role-playing through a conventional flat board filled with tokens, the game attempts to turn campaigns into fully explorable three-dimensional environments. Its central attraction is the ability to move between a familiar tabletop perspective and a first-person view in which players can experience locations through the eyes of their characters. This approach gives Dungeon Full Dive a distinctive identity, especially for groups that enjoy visual immersion alongside traditional role-playing, improvisation, and storytelling. The Player Edition serves as a free entry point into the larger Dungeon Full Dive system. Players can join online tabletop sessions and create customized characters without immediately investing in the broader package. Character creation is particularly important because the customized heroes become actual three-dimensional miniatures within the game world. The Player Edition permits a limited number of characters and custom maps, but the available functionality is substantial enough to demonstrate what makes the platform different. Players can also experiment with certain Game Master tools offline, providing an opportunity to become familiar with the environment before participating in a complete campaign. Its Full Dive feature is easily the most memorable part of the experience. A conventional virtual tabletop normally asks players to imagine everything beyond the map, miniatures, artwork, and descriptions provided by the Game Master. Here, locations can become spaces that characters physically explore. Players can walk through taverns, forests, caves, settlements, and other fantasy environments instead of observing them entirely from above. Environmental interactions further reinforce the concept, allowing characters to perform activities such as drinking or playing instruments. None of these features replace imaginative role-playing, but they can strengthen the atmosphere when used by a group that enjoys theatrical and visually detailed campaigns. Map creation is another major component. Players and Game Masters can use existing handcrafted environments, customize locations, or build new areas using the provided assets. This gives campaigns considerably more visual flexibility than simply choosing from several predetermined stages. Mountains, underground locations, wilderness areas, settlements, and battlefields can become actual three-dimensional settings for encounters. The tradeoff is that elaborate 3D preparation can demand more effort than arranging a basic two-dimensional tabletop. Groups primarily interested in fast setup may consider this unnecessary complexity, while players who enjoy designing terrain and staging encounters will probably regard it as one of the game's greatest strengths. Dungeon Full Dive also includes practical tabletop features beneath its visual presentation. Character sheets can be created and modified within the application, while notes and other campaign information can be maintained without constantly switching to external tools. Its integration with 5e mechanics is intended to support familiar tabletop systems, with conveniences such as initiative management helping organize combat encounters. This distinction matters because Dungeon Full Dive is not simply a social VR environment dressed as a fantasy game. Its objective is to combine the flexibility and organizational tools of a virtual tabletop with the spatial immersion of a three-dimensional RPG. Support for both conventional PC controls and virtual reality makes the concept much more accessible. Players using mouse and keyboard can participate alongside VR users, meaning an entire group does not need expensive VR equipment. Traditional PC play provides the convenience expected from a virtual tabletop, while VR emphasizes the sensation of actually occupying the environments. The ability to experience the same campaign through different hardware configurations is one of the smarter aspects of the design because it prevents the game's most ambitious feature from becoming a requirement that divides potential groups. The largest concern comes from the project's development history. Dungeon Full Dive entered Early Access with extensive ambitions involving additional environments, assets, campaigns, rulesets, improved combat functionality, deeper 5e support, and broader tabletop possibilities. However, TxK Gaming Studios later announced that the studio was shutting down after being unable to establish a sustainable financial path for continued development. Consequently, the game should not be approached primarily on the basis of what its Early Access roadmap once promised. Its existing tools are what matter now, and expectations of substantial future expansion should be kept firmly under control. That development situation makes Dungeon Full Dive: Player Edition simultaneously fascinating and bittersweet. There is genuine creativity behind the idea of transforming a tabletop campaign into a world that players can enter while still maintaining miniatures, maps, character sheets, Game Master tools, and role-playing freedom. When a committed group uses these systems creatively, the result can feel much more personal and atmospheric than a standard virtual tabletop. At the same time, players seeking a polished standalone RPG with quests, progression, scripted storytelling, and a traditional campaign structure are looking in the wrong place. Dungeon Full Dive supplies the stage and tools; the participating group is expected to provide much of the actual adventure. As a free Player Edition, it remains an interesting experiment for tabletop enthusiasts who want to see how far a digital platform can push visual immersion without abandoning the fundamental freedom of tabletop role-playing. The combination of customizable characters, 3D map construction, first-person exploration, VR support, cross-play, character management, environmental interaction, and Game Master functionality gives it a strong foundation. Its unfinished potential and uncertain future substantially reduce its overall appeal, but they do not erase the originality of what TxK Gaming Studios created. For the right tabletop group, Dungeon Full Dive: Player Edition can still provide an unusual and memorable way to experience collaborative adventures. Rating: 6/10
As of right now, there is no way to play with other players, we had taken time to check various solution and some of us had also checked out the discord to see if other players had the same issues and we've noticed that discord forums dating back to December of 2023 stated the same issues that we are having now. Not to mention some missing features, a lack of customization, and some inaccuracies to character creation (esp since this is suppose to be 5e) are present too. There simply are just too many bugs and incomplete issues to put any investment into this especially since the DM version of the game had jumped in price from it's original release by roughly $10, either stay away or keep a keen eye on the discord if you plan to try and do this. TL:DR - Lack of features, missing promised features, issues persisting since December 2023, to be honest you're better off setting something up with friends in VRChat. Feels like a scam tbh...

Natürlich, hier ist die Übersetzung: --- I'm not really a D&D player, but I like what I see and hope the final version will be as good as I imagine. However, I have a few suggestions from my chaotic brain for you. I get along well with English, but unfortunately, many other players do not, so having multiple languages would be great. Also a larger and possibly free selection of clothing colors would also be nice. (Perhaps not combinations, but make everything completely freely selectable.) And finaly, what would make me personally very happy, but would also be a lot of extra work, would be the implementation of other pen and paper games like The Dark Eye, Shadowrun, and so on. Additionally, you could make the final version available to modders to see what else can be done with the game.
