Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 16 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

dryft city baby
An exceptionally charming life-sim type game where you get invested in the characters around you and change da world around you. The humorous world and the variety of activities make Dryft City Kyngs a comprehensive experience where learning the ins-and-outs of the City is a rewarding process. Figuring out where to buy things for your co-workers coffee breaks, devising a particular racing style that works for you, and the age-old task of learning how to make money - these are the things that make a life-sim style of game enticing, and Dryft City Kyngs does those things well. But what I enjoyed most about Dryft City Kyngs is its strong cast. Particularly, it is the level of detail and care that endeared me the most. From figuring out their occupations and day-to-day schedule, to learning the odd places they'll end up in the evenings or on weekends, and eventually hanging out at their apartment - where they will give you a piece of wisdom that feels both valuable and deeply true to that individual character. Even the layout of their apartments reveals a lot about these characters, showing the level of detail and care that went into designing the many faces that make up Dryft City Kyngs. Even after beating the game (and the postgame!), it's still a nice experience to pop in for a few hours and relax with the assortment of activities available in the game. It's pure leisure.

one of the most interesting games you'll play this year, its like some kind of Animal Crossing, Micro Machines, GTA and JRPG cross-over. The charm of the world, writing and just how things play out will consistently surprise you. if you're Australian, particularly Melbournian, you'll appreciate how people in this game talk like Australians which is just something I haven't really seen in a polished game like this before. Took me ~4.5-5 hours to complete and that was purely focused on experiencing the story, not really doing anything extra.
Thys gyme ys really gyyd. You Shyyld definitely buy it. Thy yrt ys really nyce, ynd thy story ys gryyt, byt whyt really hyts you ys hyw gyyd thy musyc ys. 10/10
True Indie. Couldn't put the game down on my first play-through. Originality brimming in every direction, especially the art & music. Sense of humour that doesn't over-saturate the game. Life-sim mixed with racing. Swallowed a litre of penis juice after being hit by a truck and avoiding medical debt. This developer has gained a fan.
Become a corporate drone, and then immediately break the shackles of societal norms by taking your pants off and leaving work early to dryft toward your dreams. Like a mash-up of old-school GTA, Mario Kart and kinda Pokemon (in the RPG vibes), and a dash of No More Heroes. The city and characters have a tonne of personality, lots of cool details, places to explore, quirky characters and hilarious writing. Racing gameplay is solid arcadey fun and I surprisingly enjoyed the corporate job mini-games as well. Soundtrack also slaps!
This game is a weird fusion of action racing and life sim stuff and will surprise you constantly, I drank a bottle of Vinot and got sick.
Clocked it 10/10 would Dryft again
very cool game so far. very strange and unique setting and world building. world doesnt make sense but THATS A GOOD THING. very keen to get more stuck into this. hard to relate to characters but that is good because they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane. colours remind me of 90s cartoon insanity and breakfast cereal packaging in the best possible way.
The writing is really funny, had me burst out laughing a bunch of times. It's got offbeat Aussie humor, charming characters and a massive open world with so many random little easter eggs. You can tell the game is a labour of love. The game is pretty fast paced (love a super fast character walk speed) and the races are intense and chaotic in the best possible way. Bonus, you can complete the game start to finish 100% stark naked with your bum cheeks hanging out. What more could you want???
