Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I think Drifter's Tales made a mistake in its marketing. It advertises itself as a card game when it is, in fact, a PUZZLE game. I say this because the card selection is very limited and uninspired, there is pretty much no deckbuilding and every boss fight seems to have one or two ways to beat it which, combined with the limited card pool, makes the experience more akin to a puzzle game. This version is rather short. Six stories in total (not counting the tutorial) for a total of around two hours to beat. The problem is: you are going to replay the same stories again and again until you memorize the very easy boss patterns. The game description states there are "dozens" of cards, which already doesn't sound very promising. "Dozens" (plural) means exactly TWO dozens, as in 24 different cards. This includes some cards locked behind branching paths and very boring cards like a few variations of "heal 2" and "deal 2 damage". The customization part is actually interesting, and it allows to put permanent stat modifiers found during stories on cards in your deck, such as extra attack or extra speed. The map is set as a board game, in tiles, but the rules for them are inconsistent: sometimes walking on an already discovered tile will show the description again, sometimes it won't. Unfortunately, when you have to rerun the story to try the boss fight again you can't skip the card flipping animation so every five minutes of card game you have to sit through a minute or two of animations and skipping text. Finally, the game is unpolished. Some cards and messages are not translated from French and once I got a line of code instead of the "End Story" message on a button. And don't try to convince me it's meta. Also, there is no Quit option outside the main menu so you need to ALT+F4 the game at the end of a story or at any point during gameplay. If the end goal of this game was to make me interested in the related board game, I'm afraid it achieved the exact opposite.
Interesting game, it's different, feels a bit like a card story game. It's short and needs some sort of replaybility to keep increasing your deck. Still has a few bugs but I enjoyed it

Mouse cursor is completely hidden on nearly every screen except title screen, making it nearly impossible to play (unless you can track where the cursor should be without actually seeing it). There's a previous complaint about this as well in the comments. Seems like a polished and interesting hybrid card battler / puzzle game, but without being able to see the cursor, it's unplayable. Will replay if an update seeking to correct this issue is issued.
