The game looks cheaper than its price … Viking’s drakkar is pretty much the staple example of an amateur flash game, by how simple the concept, gameplay and visuals are. There’s no story or tutorial on how to play but you basically play as a ship that can only move between two lanes each via a single key. There’s only 2 and 4 player mode, so uh, guess you can test how ambidextrous you are. With that concept, the gameplay isn’t hard at all. There’s no difficulty build-up, no new spawns of obstacles or items, nothing. It’s the continuous spawn of Chests and logs. Now the visuals is where Viking’s drakker really hits its demise for it’s paint-like art. I can imagine the 2D ships, BG and other objects being made in no more than ½ an hour on the paint app. The music and audio was no better. Yes, the game did have these contents, but it was of bad quality and ran on a short loop. The Menu sounds were obnoxiously loud, even in-game, and the music just didn’t suit the theme. We’re playing as Vikings and sailing across the ocean, with 80s pop-music going in the BG. Why … ? Nuff’ said. There are better Flash, racing games on the web, than Viking’s drakker, that are free too.

I guess the developer's goal was to make the worst steam game ever.
Not Good.
Not at the level to be called a game I get the idea of the game, but it was not in the required level in many respects
Vikings drakkars is more Russian shovelware pollution from the scammers at Azimut. This is barely a game... it's a 2 button endless runner where you "drive" a longboat endlessly up the screen avoiding(?) blobs... it's unclear what the controls are, what the blobs do, if you're supposed to hit them or miss them... this is just pure garbage put together probably in an afternoon, then quickly dumped on Steam as a nasty cash grab. This is pretty obviously an asset flip because the Russian scammers here already put this game on Steam as "Pixel Car". This is just a reskin of the same game. Why flip an asset once when you can flip it twice? Ugh. This is just polluting Steam with garbage. azimuth team have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. One example of azimuth team doing this is Dungeons of the dead, which is really the "2D Roguelike Tutorial" asset, written by the actual developers, Unity Technologies. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The graphics here are some of the worst, laziest attempt at video game "art" I've ever seen. It's hard to suggest this game even has graphics. It's just untextured, basic pixel blocks and blobs, the kind that an infant child might be able to create in 5 minutes on MS Paint. It's clear the developer didn't even try to produce any real graphics for the game and just phoned it in. It's unclear why such a lazy approach was taken, whether it may be caused by lack of talent, budget, or motivation to do their job properly. It also doesn't matter... what matters is that this has resulted in a game with zero visual appeal for gamers. It's an immediate failure on that measure alone. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2017), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 7 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Vikings drakkars is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Бегают таракашки, главное что б не прибило, жизненно что еще сказать) (Корабли вообще не выглядят как корабли, а как тараканы с фуртуком)
Doesn’t look good, doesn’t play well, frustrating RNG at times when there’s two logs too close to each other Just need to get to 100 points in one run basically for the hundo.
