as soon as i heard about this game coming out i knew id be getting it day one, was part of the meta MP playtest a little while back, which impressed me (apart from the controls being a bit jank) now on full release the jank is still there, but the atmosphere more than makes up for the it, we all know a few patches will polish this game - hopefully the devs patch up the game to the level it deserves
手游都不如的画质+超级廉价的音效。。。毫无沉浸感

I can recommend this game without hesitation to anyone who enjoys story driven VR games that clearly bring a certain level of professionalism. Overall I am really positively impressed and very satisfied with the game and I hope that other players do not miss this one. There are not many good story driven games out there. The price is more than fair. I paid 20 euros and think that is great. There was even a demo to try out which was very convincing. I think the developers did a great job in all aspects. Nothing feels cheap or indie even though I assume this was not a triple A production. But the game is close. Quick overview of what you get: There are interactive puzzles that are truly designed for VR, texts and audio recordings to read and listen to, and a horror story that blends mystery and gore. You can defend yourself with various weapons and upgrade them as well. The level design is comparable to Resident Evil 7, which I really like. That means you explore and gradually unlock small interconnected areas filled with events and collectibles. The game is set in the 1930s and everything fits together visually and feels very cohesive. Wood, metal and blood. You make good progress without feeling rushed but also without boring sections. There is backtracking for example to open a locked safe or to apply an upgrade to one of your weapons. You cannot explore every cabinet and drawer even though the environment invites you to do so, but that also means you do not get stuck in that loop of having to check everything, which can quickly become stressful for me. There were a few points of criticism that I noticed both in the demo and in the full game. Personally I can overlook them because of all the positive things the game offers. I do not think the weapon sounds and the general shooting feel are very good. But since you are not constantly fighting and more often defending yourself than attacking, I can live with that. Sometimes haptic elements like levers, switches or buttons do not work on the first try or feel a bit clunky. It is not game breaking but noticeable. Most of the interactive elements work very well to well, so it only occasionally feels unintuitive. I do think the special VR puzzles that require hand interaction are designed in such a cool way that it is not really a problem. The third issue for me as a Quest 2 user was that I had a wobbly image at the beginning and it took me about two hours to fix it. That is a pretty rough entry barrier which I only pushed through because I already knew from the demo that I liked the game. The solution was very simple. I just had to launch the game through the Steam Link app which you can download and install for free from the Quest store. The game really inspired and motivated me to keep working on my own VR mod project and I am very thankful for that. Game development is really hard work and I have a lot of respect for all developers, big and small, who take on this challenge. I am looking forward to my next session tonight.
Remélem lesz folytatás, pedig még végig sem játszottam :)
Sajnos a játék meg használhatatlan. Pedig olyan ígéretes volt. De a kutyák pl meg sem támadnak. Ujraeledesnel a pajan kívül találod magad. Az ellenfél beléd megy támadáskor. A kés az ulti fegyver. A hangok nem teremtenek atmoszférát. Sok mindent ki lehet javítani, de félek hogy ez már soha sem lesz egy jó játék
This is another perfect example for why steam needs to add another rating between thumbs up or down. tl:dr get it on sale. A game that looked very promising, but suffers from an unfortunate case of shizophrenia. It consists of 5 levels, each of which feel like they were made by entirely different teams with entirely different goals. For some odd reason, the later levels received all the polish, while the beginning of the game is definitively the weakest part of the package. Still, there are plenty of glitches and bugs abound; for example, the first level sets up a doctor as a main villain, and you get to see him mutate in a cutscene. When the cutscene started, the game pushed my camera through a wall outside the building, hiding it. The only way i could see what was happening because the game also didn't block me trying to poke my head back in by physically moving. There are plenty of minor issues getting in the way - for example, the pickup priority of when you try to grab something is completely screwed up. Still, except for one part in the game, i mostly enjoyed my experience, and the final level has one of the finest five seconds of gaming in VR. Sadly, the game just ends, with a cliffhanger. They didn't even add credits, making me think i got the bad ending, but no - it's very abrupt. Without the confusion, and thinking of it in hindsight, it's a fine ending, but as the rest of the game, it lacked polish in how it was done.
Great horror/shooter game. The enviroment is very creep and it have some jump scares. The graphics are good but some textures lacks definition (but a lot of them was already improved in the post-launch updates). The VR mechanics are well implemented, but some collisions and interaction are still a little rough, but overall I've enjoyed it a lot (and I'm still, since I didn't finish the game yet).
