It's awesome! Lots of interesting decisions always making you feel conflicted in the best way. Leveling is very generous for the explorers so you really don't feel locked out of any skills (and even more so with help of items which feel appropriately strong and good to find and use. I've used almost all of my equipment often switching between them for whatever I needed). Agility is perfect, very rare for games to have such simple but fun movement(zipping through the isles in seconds feels incredible), even if most locations do not make great use of it with very little platforming challenges it always feels good to just run and jump with high Agility and a boosting spell. I started on hard mode, and after dying a couple of times in the first hours I never died again, so this game's combat isn't really difficult, and I wish there was more of a need for rare potions or throwables, but that's more of a nitpick really. The open world is nicely tuned and does not feel overwhelming or bloated, quite a rare feeling with open world games for me (well this game is not that open with the main story being a huge focus but it works out great for this game). Clockwork Kingdom is a masterpiece in every way, my favorite region in an already great game, loved all the quests, locations, designs and the unfolding mystery. A lot of stuff to love and enjoy, a great game!

I played my first run on hard mode, and I think that was a mistake. The early game felt slow, both because of the difficulty and because it took a while for the story to find its footing. I think you are supposed to run from enemies, but because I didn’t know where to go. I just ended up fighting everything, which... was a slog. By the end, though, hard mode felt exactly right. Dangerous places stayed dangerous, and exploring them felt rewarding and engaging. The world is what kept me playing. The floating islands separated by an endless void create a real sense of isolation and wonder. Every new area felt worth reaching, and getting the airship was easily my favorite moment. Flying wherever I wanted made the world feel even more tangible, not smaller. I do think the progression could be improved. Weapon upgrades encourage you to commit early, so by the time you find interesting options like clockwork or mushroom weapons, you’ve probably already invested too much into something else to justify switching. Those weapons deserved to be found much earlier. What surprised me most was how much I ended up thinking about the characters and the choices. There aren’t many clean answers in this world. Most decisions left me feeling conflicted, and some characters stayed with me long after their stories ended. That’s a rare thing for a game to accomplish. Dread Delusion isn’t perfect. It has pacing issues and a few systems that could have been better balanced. But it has a unique world, a distinctive atmosphere, and enough confidence in its ideas that I was genuinely sad when I realized there was nothing left to discover.
Fun, Morrowind-like game. No hand holding.

I love old school RPGS Art direction is beautiful in this game World design is sub-par and navigation can lead to a lot of backtracking and headache I unfortunately took a hiatus and forgot what I Was doing which didn't help. The story itself is uninspired but the dialogue is witty, comical and good at times while also being difficult to follow. Curious to see a sequel with overall better design but a good start
