minecraft but A LOT better
Eh, it's fun to play. It's very heavily story driven, but relatively easy to 100% and just enjoy, however, I feel the sequel is better in just about every single comprehensible way. The second DQB is actually one of my favorite games ever!!
Its not a bad game, but i do not recommend this because DQ Builders 2 (two) is much much better in every way, and you do not need to play DQ Builders 1 first, as its totally standalone. builders 2 is one of the best games ever and extremely underrated. PS: play with a mouse and get used to switching between first person and 3rd person in it.

Best game I ever played. Life changing. Easy to understand and fun to play, and also has amazing lore and characters that I keep coming back for after six years.
「おお、発売が10年前でも不便をほとんど感じないとは何事だ！▼」 ちょっと残酷で救いの無いジメっとした展開やら、ドラクエならではの熱血王道展開やら。各章で次々土地を飛び、渡り歩く事になるのですが、ちょっぴり別れが寂しくなるようなメインキャラの掘り下げが短時間ながらもしっかりしていました。 キャラクター達もただ人任せにするのではなく、ちゃんとお礼を言うし、改心や成長するし、簡易アイテムをランダムで生成しておいてくれるなど「めんどくせぇけど、こいつらの為ならやってやるか」くらいのやる気が自然とわいてくるから面白い。 会話を聞いたりヒントを集めて冒険するのはブロックの世界になっても変わりません。 レアアイテムの作成はそれなりに探し回ったり、補充が必要だけど、量産が必要なアイテムなどは素材要求が易しく一度にまとめて作れたりとテンポ良く遊ばせようという気遣いを感じました。 僕はやり込みはやらないので、ミッションはほとんどやっていませんが、わかりやすいものからちょっと何言ってるかわからないものまで各章に5つずつやり込み要素があるので、じっくりプレイヤーにもピッタリだと思います。 古めのセールゲームを投げがちな僕ですが、久しぶりクリアまで遊べたゲームでした。2も買うつもりです！
I'm glad i got around to playing this one myself after seeing Wanderbots play it so long ago, taking a simple "minecraft like" block building survival game & interwieving it with a enjoyable campaign story structure that capitalizes on the progression system in new & interesting ways. One of the biggest problems with every survival game is once you've overcome the troubles of survival & made the best gear what do you do? this game tackles that problem in a way i've not seen before & it's worth praising Might not be the most indepth or flawless story / gameplay, but remains fun & enjoyable from beginning to end, would reccomend for people who enjoy or are new to Survival building games, might be a good entry point for newbies!

Upvote as it is a good game. I played this game in another platform and replay via for fun. Unfortunately it seems it does not work well on steamdeck with a PS controller. Sometime it works but it randomly cannot able to connect. Another issue is it random crashes in 2nd world.
