Dragon Age: Origins - Ultimate Edition

Circling back to play this after already playing Inquisition and Veilguard. I'm not very far in the game but with the right mods from some of our amazing creators, this game is beautiful and very playable!! My nerdy little heart is so happy with all of the lore I had only heard about in the other games I played. I think this is going to be a real treat to play and discover so much more about one of my favorite franchises!

every time i try playing game now it crashes on me please fix the game

Fantastic game, loved playing it on the 360 and now the PC. I enjoy being able to use mods but by god does this game crash and I mean CRASH. If you are looking to play this on PC then either, keep it vanilla (it will still crash but it will be less often) or you just need to make sure that you're saving before entering/exiting building and after every fight. Basically just save every 30 seconds. Great game though!

Dragon Age: Origins is, without a doubt, one of the greatest RPGs ever made and the absolute peak of the Dragon Age series. Dark and immersive fantasy world, outstanding writing, memorable companions, meaningful choices, and a story that truly makes you feel like your decisions matter. Every origin story offers a unique perspective, encouraging multiple playthroughs, while the tactical combat and character progression remain incredibly satisfying even today. The cast is legendary. Characters like Alistair, Morrigan, Leliana, and the unforgettable party banter make your companions feel like real people rather than simple NPCs. Few RPGs have managed to recreate that magic. I strongly recommend playing it on Xbox if possible. Unfortunately, the PC version has aged very poorly from a technical standpoint. It suffers from memory-related crashes, compatibility issues, and lacks proper optimization for modern hardware. While there are community fixes available, the console version provides a much smoother and more enjoyable experience without the constant troubleshooting. Dragon Age: Origins remains one of the finest RPGs ever created—a timeless classic that every RPG fan should experience.
