Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

battle mechanics are quite janky, but still a legendary game
Constantly crashes when trying to enter a new area - worked fine on previous runs a few years ago but now doesn't seem to be playable. Absolute crying shame - if you can play the Ultimate Edition on a different platform, you should because it's fantastic.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unfortunately just not for me. I really enjoy the story and characters, especially with how intricate the worldbuilding is, but I cannot stand the combat design. I love older games and I'll even go to bat for many that are called "clunky" in their control schemes, but this is the one I can't do that for. I don't inherently dislike the combat system (I do like the old-school strategy RPG structure), but its clunkiness and slowness combined with the very repetitive battles (onslaughts of the same enemies with very brutal scalings that exhaust resources after one battle of like five) just don't do it for me. I've played some of the DLCs and enjoyed them and I can never hate something with Tim Curry in it, but this just became a slog so quickly for me.
Bah no me hagas reir. Deja esos juegos y juega la mayor revolucion de Bioware desde Baldurs Gate 1 y 2. En una increible aventura audiovisual de los años 2008, con memory leaks y mujerzuelas que te mantendran entretenido durante al menos 96h del tiron.
its pretty good i like the story and dialogue options
Thumb's up.

Origins has aged REALLY damn poorly and dragon age as an overall game series is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful compared to bioware's other games. Just go play Mass Effect, KOTOR or Baldurs Gate instead they are worth your time so much more and are relatively timeless.
The best Dragon Age <3
