Very addictive game for people who like to use their creativity in thinking up storylines, feature articles, and the like. There are enough genres and topics to mix together to keep things interesting, and it's a fun challenge to figure out which genres and topics go together to produce the highest rated, most profitable article/story/book. Building up skills and expertise is also another factor in the "grind." I honestly wasn't expecting this game to be so addictive, but I played for 7 hours straight, from night until the sun came up. If you like games where you (micro)manage things, you may like this game, especially if you're a bookworm or writer. It can become repetitive, but I didn't feel any fatigue even at the 7-hour mark. In the long run, the game may not be very replayable, but I say enjoy the ride the first time around! My only gripe is that it's way too easy to get bankrupt (and basically "die") after you fulfill the "Buy new house" goal. The house costs $50k but I suggest you have at LEAST $80k (better, $100k) before you buy it or else your monthly bills/rent will eat up all your cash super fast. I also wish the inspiration meter went a tiny bit slower, and I wish there were small ways to increase inspiration around the house (like having some tea, watching TV, meditating, or whatever). The house is such a big space that's not utilized (your character literally just sits at the desk in a pretty large room), so it would be nice to fill it with stuff the character can interact with to boost inspiration, because right now the only way to boost inspiration is to read books (which aren't automatically available) or to pay a large sum of money to go on vacation. It would also be a nice feature to be able to at least redesign/recolor the furniture, walls, and floor of the house, just for an added bit of customization. Lastly, the UI is cute, responsive, clean, and very easy on the eyes. The music is cheerful and not tiring to listen to.

gud
Well. im going to be short. The game is way to unbalanced at the momemt. Its an ethernal chase for cash, and the "drive" is going down way to fast. I have tried this 5 times now, and it end in banckrupsy evertime. I see my self as an above average player in this kind of games. but this is just way to frustrating.
Great game, I already now I will be playing a lot! Looks easy at first, but managing the experience and the money can become a challenge, which I like a lot. Good work! Can't wait to see the updates, since it is in early access!
It was interesting to see how much work the character seems to put into his passion. Would love to have access to more books and if the writer were able to more easily specialise in certain topics
I enjoyed playing, but I wish some things were different. (And they will be) so I'm just going to wait for full release. I do recommend playing the game, you will get hooked for some hours. Worth the money
A fun little management game I've been playing since it was in early access, the developer has been diligent with game balance/polish and fixing bugs.
A relaxing simulation and strategy game. Improve your writing style and become a famos writer...... Sounds easier than it is, espacially if your not a nativ speaker like I. Then the riddles could be a challenge. Now played the 7th time through the game and still discover something new.
A fun game. Cannot wait to see more. Suggestions: I think it would be nice to have your non-fictions short stories, articles, novels, and so on be able to be turned into films if they are a high enough quality, if you are famous enough, so on.
