Dracula: Origin

Cooles Point and Click mit ziemlichen Black Mirror Vibes. Auch wenn einem einige der Rätsel ganz schön alleine lassen und man erstmal verstehen muss, was zu tun ist. Ich hätte mir aber schon ein paar Auftritte mehr von Dracula gewünscht.

Ambientazioni ed atmosfere ben riuscite, il doppiaggio italiano è ottimo seppur all'interno di una trama non molto coinvolgente. La maggior parte degli enigmi è impegnativa e dà grande soddisfazione, anche se si incontrano dei puzzle la cui soluzione è veramente poco comprensibile. Per i fan di Frogwares e Dracula in genere, consigliato!

I had so much fun playing this game, lots of laughs. My favourite puzzle was when we had to combine some things with mysterious sticky thing. Heh, don't wanna spoil the fun! 10/10 would play this again, can't believe how big Van Helsing's pockets are for him to fit an entire library staircase ladder, in order to move it 4 meters to the right. "Beautiful roses!"

i love vampire games and i love visual novels! 10/10.... the only issue i had originally was getting the game to function, but my anti-virus software was to blame.

brauche ich nicht erst lange testen , das spiel wird gut werden ,frogware macht an sich gute spiele ...dieses erinnert mich auch etwas an sherlok .... es läuft auch ohne pronleme bis jetzt ... also kaufen !

(I've needed 11 hours for completing this game, but played a lot of it in offline-mode, therefore the amount of game-time in this review will differ with the actual one). Well... would there be a review option available between good and bad, I would have picked that one out. Such an option doesn't exist though and this game's way too well made for giving it a negative one. Therefore I will offer to you all now the pros and contras: * Great detective work, challenging puzzles and interesting environments. * Loved the hand-painted looking backgrounds in the loading screens. * There were a creepy scene in the story, which was really giving good horror-vibes! * It's different from the original Dracula-story, therefore not just a 100% copy of Bram Stocker. - Some puzzles were too hard and/or didn't feel right. I asked in the discussion forum how to solve the hieroglyphic one for example, but didn't get a response. So get used to keep a walkthrough next to you for solving this game. - Dracula's looks seemed to have been more focused on horny, teenage Twilight fans, instead of real horror-lovers. Not even his eyes glowed unnatural red once. - The ending was really short and disappointing. Can't go in detail though without spoiling you all. Let's just say that it made zero sense, how the count could have survived this whole procedure (vampire or not, doesn't matter). So... yeah honestly I can only recommend it to fans of vampires and detectives. And maybe while it's on discount.

[h2]Po stopách Draculy napříč gotickou Evropou[/h2] Dracula: Origin je old-school 2D point-and-click adventura, ve které se vydáváte napříč Evropou, abyste v roli Van Helsinga zastavili hraběte Draculu v jeho plánu přivést zpět svou dávnou lásku – i za cenu zkázy celého světa. Hra slouží jako prequel k Dracula: Love Kills a i když jsem se zpočátku obával, že půjde o Hidden Object hru jako u pokračoivání, naštěstí tomu tak není. Dostáváme zde plnohodnotnou adventuru s výrazným příběhem a klasickým pojetím žánru. Temná atmosféra by se díky svému gritty vizuálnímu stylu dala krájet a fanoušci adventur typu Nibiru nebo Posel smrti si tu přijdou na své. Hra velmi dobře pracuje s pocitem neustálého ohrožení a gotickým nádechem prostředí. Puzzly jsou navržené rozumně – vyžadují přemýšlení, ale nejde o nic vyloženě frustrujícího. Většinu času máte pocit, že řešení dává smysl v kontextu světa i příběhu. Co ale hře nelze úplně odpustit, je její technický stav. První spuštění na systémech Windows 10/11 je celkem problematické a český překlad je místy tragický– u jednoho puzzlu jsou dokonce prohozené názvy položek, takže bez přepnutí do angličtiny nebo nahlédnutí do návodu se dál nedostanete. Samotný závěr hry mi pak přišel spíš slabší, ale to už si každý musí zhodnotit sám. I přes tyto nedostatky má Dracula: Origin skvělý příběh, zábavnou hratelnost a silnou atmosféru odpovídající gotickému období, ve kterém se odehrává. Doporučit ji mohu všem milovníkům klasických point-and-click adventur.
