Kinda feels like they ruined everything they did with 2016 and eternal. Both of those games are heavily based on agility, darting from demon to demon, hucking grenades, and in general moving fast as hell. This game feels like the exact opposite, slow, plodding, kinda boring. And the glory kills, my god how they massacred the glory kills. No more brutal animation knocking a zombies head down into their chest cavity, no more tearing bits of the spider off and rearranging them, no more decapitating that hell night that just WOULD NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE. Nope, none of that. Just a simple punch, not even a heavy looking punch, more like a quick jab. The parry system SUCKS. Why can't you just dodge out of the way? That's stupid. Every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enemy in this game puts this stupid decal over your vision when they hit you, a giant ass decal that covers about a third of your vision and effectively flashbangs you. Melee attacks are now a SPECIAL ABILITY??? Blood punch was weird, but it kinda makes sense. Don't punch for a while, then when you do it is a devestating whack. But seriously? You have three punch charges that you need to refill? STUPID. No more rip and tear, because you don't have enough FIST POINTS TO DO SO. They spent two games and several years setting up a beautiful and satisfying system, then they went and just... forgot about it? Completely abandoned it? And the music, dear god the music sucks. Mick Gordon was the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ goat, then they messed up that relationship so bad they had to get a bunch of people in to make... whatever sonic mush this game has. Too many cooks spoil the broth. I started playing immediately after finishing eternal so maybe it's just a bit to get used to, but ya know what games didn't have much to get used to between them? 2016 and eternal. They had five years to let this cook and they cooked it straight to death.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I ripped. I tore. I had a nice time.

its been a good game, im 3 hours in
This game ♥♥♥♥♥ and the DLC is even better. Microsoft is scum and laid off half of id software after they poured their heart and soul into the industry for 35 years.
I absolutely love this game. The graphics are fantastic, the mechanics feel great, and the pacing is just right. The music fits the atmosphere perfectly and really adds to the overall experience. Everything comes together so well that Dark Ages has easily been one of the greatest games I've played in a long time. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying every moment of it.
