Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 9.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Doom 2 is that uncle who keeps touching you yet you endure because he gives you super shotgun ammo every 10 seconds. Doom 1 is kino though.
Oh, I was hyped that they added Andrew Hulshult's music until I realized they added an in-game mod browser that's completely broken. Once a mod is enabled, there are ZERO options to disable it, and you must exit the game to even delete the folders in your windows file explorer. This isn't even mentioning that they only allow one mod loaded at a time. Genuinely mindboggling how they funked this up. Yet another franchise ruined by Bethesda being greedy wastes of oxygen. DON'T GET THIS PORT; LOOK ELSEWHERE.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A great classic. Catchy music, despite the graphics, is still played easily and with soul. The childhood game has been played many times, but it never gets boring to play it again. Respect to the developers for such a great game. An amazing start to the series.
Too many demons, not enough Jesus. Okely-dokely, but no thanks!
DOOM rocks so frickin’ much dude. Probably one of the most important and influential shooters of all time and despite its age it’s still such a blast to play today. The movement is simple but so fast and fluid, and just plain fun to control. The weapon variety is so well balanced with them all having their own different strengths and use case scenarios and they all just feel so GOOD to use! - Berserk Punch, turns the level into a game of Punch Out, great for conserving ammo. - Chainsaw, stunlocks lower tier demons and is good at saving ammo. - The pistol… okay, sucks but it takes at most 10 seconds to get something better. - Shotgun: Classic Workhorse, great at taking out low tier demons, even semi-decent for sniping. - Super Shotgun: Outright one of the best weapons ever coded into a video game. One blast, 20 pellets, perfect for close range drive-bys paired with your mobility. A clean shot does about the same damage as a rocket. Most satisfying weapon to use in a game full of incredible weapons. - Chaingun: Good single target damage and mows down a group of low tiers. Great at stun locking in a pinch and your best hits can weapon for sniping. - Rocket Launcher: High Risk, High reward. Fires fast and the AoE makes it incredible at dealing with crowds. Just try not to face-rocket yourself. - Plasma Gun: High damage, fast firing rate, best used in a pinch, and reliable in any situation if you have the ammo. Shame it shares it with… The BFG-9000: Rare, but oh so powerful. Nukes everything in front of you. It even eviscerates boss monsters if you know how to use it right. Topped all of with the monster variety, which is near PERFECT (Doom 2 specifically). So many different monster combinations for unique and varied encounters. Dangerous enough to not be complete push overs so your approach to combat isn’t mindless, and JUST enough health to keep them as threats but never being too spongey to make them tedious. Doom’s gameplay loop has such an immaculate flow, than just makes it so good to play. I really do think that the only thing that may be a little outdated is some of its level design and even then a lot of base game’s ones are still good and memorable. The modding scene is so huge, Honestly I could reccomend Doom 10 times over based on that alone. Even after all this time, there’s something about Doom’s sprite based art style that’s still so timeless. I will admit many of the base game levels aren’t exactly lookers, but given that you’re playing a custom mapset, Doom has so much potential to actually look so visually stunning and distinct from anything else. Side note: Doom already has a pretty good soundtrack already, but the Doom community is home to some of the most talented MIDI musicians you’ll ever find. I’d reccomend you play through The Plutonia Experiment, the Master Levels and No Rest for the Living using the community midi packs if you can figure out how to setup those up. My biggest recommendation is if you come out of the main games enjoying the basic combat and gameplay loop, please do check out the modding scene on Doomworld. It’s legitimately so worth the trouble figuring out to configure a custom source port to play so many unforgettable mapsets and experiences. (Personal recommendations are: Valiant, Speed of Doom, Back to Saturn X Episode 1, Scythe II, Ancient Aliens, Grove and MyHouse.wad just to name a few) It feels really corny to say, but Classic Doom really is Eternal. There’s a reason there’s still an extremely dedicated and active community for it. It’s already so worth playing it just for its historical value alone, but it also just happens to be just an incredible FPS game today. I couldn’t reccomend it enough. So what are you waiting for?! Buy this game, grab that shotgun and blast those demons back to h*ck! As a bonus: So I didn’t even exist when Doom first came out, I only got into it somewhere around 2018-2019, but my dad was there from the beginning. Recently he’s gotten back into Doom with the switch port of this game and he’s been playing through it on his own time, sometimes with me watching him. And with me being the classic doom nerd that I am, I’ve been teaching him and guiding him through the levels and showing him all the secrets I remember. He’s slowly been making progress on his own on Ultra Violence, and occasionally he does ask for my help, but he has been doing really well for himself. He doesn’t generally play many games that often, so just personally for me, I gotta thank DOOM for giving me some more quality father-son bonding time as cheesy as that is. ^-^
The game in windows is a lot faster then the dos version with improved sound and music. Keeps you on your toes. cheers
DOOM 1 y 2 me dieron testosterona pura.
Essa versão é maravilhosa, definitiva
