Everyone should give this game a try
Game is top tier and should be played by everyone! 12/10!
I played this game on stream. It was cute. Incredibly short. Direction was.. kinda everywhere and controls and explanations were clunky. The story isnt as "dark" or "interesting" as the developer thinks it is. About 15 minutes in and you can figure out what's going on if you're even remotely seasoned. So I wont spoil it. Its a solid "Meh" overall.

To be honest I can't even be bothered to write a full fledged review for this one. I already made a short review of it that explains how I feel about it. Unfortunately despite receiving the game for free I can't recommend it even for that price. See the three and a half minute review below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nok_BxPVccY
Short, but decent game :)
This game turned to be unexpectedly deep and shocking. I doubt that the main message of the game is that we should stop eating meet and treat animals the way we want them to treat us. People are an a whole other level. In my opinion, this game shows that the world is steeped in cruelty. No matter what chice you make, in the end of the day someone has to suffer. Peace was never an option.
I liked this game a lot! Its not often you see games handle topics like animal abuse or animal rights, so I was super intrigued by this game. The game is about viewing what humans do to animals and their perspective of it and is mainly meant to change the way you think about life. The messaging is pretty on-the-nose, but its very heartfelt and its a message I agree with. I loved all the characters, the interactions with them were really wholesome and cute. Its a very short game (took me 2 hours to see all the endings and finish all the achievements), but it manages to convey whatever it wants to say in the limited playtime. A few things could have been better. While i liked the art style of the game and all its characters, there are very few animations for the characters (for example, the player character only has forward/backward movement animations and not side to side) and its very very jarring to play. There are also very few sound effects (no footsteps for example) and the music loops can get quite repetitive, but since the game is really short its not much of a problem. I think the game could've really benefited from these improvements and would've made the experience better. Since the game also only relies on autosaves, to get all the endings you kinda need to repeat some tasks (not too bad of a problem since there is an option to skip the intro section of the game) but its a minor inconvenience due to the short playtime. I would also have loved it if the game were longer and paced a little bit more slowly and be allowed to take in the world, environment and characters a bit more. All in all I don't think the negatives detract too much from that game since the game's objective is to mainly deliver a message about thinking about what we are doing to animals and whether it is even necessary. I loved it overall and I can really recommend it, one of my favorite games of 2021. I hope to see bigger budget games handling this topic in the future as there are way too few of them. Really excited to see what the developer for this game does in the future as you can only get better :)
It's short and interesting, the Dev is trying to make some pretty big statements in a pretty small game. Straight to some of the points. I think that it was worth buying and playing. It's maybe an hour of your time depending on your pace and the Dev is generous with replay options once you finish. The various endings gave a variety of closure and each creature's personality was tailored to their theme. I may have only caught part of the Dev's message. If there was more, or if it were more balanced than I understood, then they might think about how they convey that in future games. A few issues for them to spiffy up: 1. Autosave isn't super great. I got to different points of progress and sometimes it saved up until that and other times it didn't. -- however, it is such a short game that this isn't too much of an issue. -- One way that the Dev is forgiving is that, for some things that you might have to run back for if you forgot, instead of having to go back (for those specific things) there's a dialog that lets you stay and "bring the thing to you". I thought that this was a really nice touch. 2. A crucial item for progression didn't end up in my inventory and I spent half an hour trying everything before realizing that it was a glitch and I would have to reset the game, which leads to issue 3: 3. It is VERY UNCLEAR how to start a new game. You can't even uninstall and reinstall, because it reloads your progress, even if you delete the local files manually. TO RESET THE GAME: 3a. Go into the game settings 3b. Click on the bug icon in the top right corner 3c. Now you can click on resetting the game. I think that this last part should be a top menu item. Most other games have "New Game" or "Reset" along with the continue button in the main menu. The fact that I had to search for it was frustrating. At least it existed. All in All, this is an entertaining and thoughtful game and absolutely worth your time!
Alright, I'm gonna be real honest.. I spent 7 dollars on a game that tried to turn me vegan with uninteresting dialog / characters and predictable story line. When I read "body mutation" I thought the character was going to be turned into a partial animal by one of those monkeys or what ever, I get in the game- first 10 minutes I know that none of that is gonna happen. Would not recommend, waste of money.
