Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I'm not really into strategy games, but I had fun with the time I had with this. Cool characters/story, even if it is cheesy it is a ton of fun.
Disclaimer: I did play this game back on release, so nostalgia may factor in a bit into my review. This game is an interesting blend of Third-Person Shooter (TPS), Real-Time Strategy (RTS) and Political/Strategy Tabletop Boardgame simulator. It also has a tinge of Waifu sim (hence the nickname, "Waifu Commander"). The game's campaign is fairly short, but the maps included vary greatly and is quite an enjoyable experience overall. As commander, your make several important political legislations, that feel impactful to the game, with how well done the voice-acting and how varied the dialogue is, but are actually little more than voiced flavor texts, as they have little to no impact on your standing overall. That being said, on harder difficulties, political standing with the other races are more important, but with a little tactical planning/understanding, it can easily be overcome. Overall, the game may last you anywhere from 5-10 hours, depending on your familiarity with RTS games, but you may end up playing the game several times just to see all the Waifu unlocks (undead especially). In sum: It's worth it on sale at $5, but probably not at the full $40, considering it's a game released 9 years ago.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is a very fun RPG masquerading as an RTS. the RTS part is weak if you want an RTS play another game. The character dialogue on your ship is where its at, their funny engaging, well rounded characters, who rif on 2000s bush era American politics. their personal stories are surprisingly impactful in the end leaving them as changed people depending on the choice you make. I do enjoy the risk like global map war, and usually spend most of my time making armies and moving them around pretending like moving a plastic game pieces around a fantasy map makes me Ulysses Grant or something. playing as a dragon in game is ok i guess the dragon form is very powerful and can turn the tide of hopeless battles sometimes, but is more of a gimmick then anything really. If you like RPGs, character driven games this is great and well up to Larian standards. I do recommend it its very well written and fun to play.
it is alright
I was conflicted on the review for this game, but I think I have to ultimately thumbs it down. I had fun, but it quickly becomes tedious, and the more research you go down it changes from a Unit Macro based RTS to a Micro ability based RTS which doesn't feel good honestly. A lot of the research becomes shallow after Act 1 and less meaningful and then they ramp up difficulty in Act 3 to add more superficial meaning to the Research The first Act was fun, though dragged on a bit The Second Act should have been fun with the multiple Nations but almost every Nation just turtled in their capital, I think I beat Act 2 faster than Act 1 Then theres Act 3. and I think this is why I ultimately have to thumbs it down, suddenly the AI spikes and actually tries to retaliate on the world map, and it felt jarring because in the previous 2 Acts it was so passive. Then when you get into the RTS mode the AI activates every ability on every unit immediately and just created an difficulty spike experience that wasn't enjoyable to me and didn't really have an organic difficulty learning curve. I loved the politics and little Narrative nuggets and then the choices you can make that affect your wife were super cool but the moment I didn't support my wife in her goals she immediately stopped having new dialogue options, which turns into my point of why I think I have to ultimately thumbs this game down, It tried doing too much which lead to some really cool features being more shallow. Examples, The Wife, Politics, The Politic opinion influence the lands you are on, No real benefits for agreeing with a Race or Racial benefits (I wanted Undead units :( ) - The Politic opinion influence the lands you are on: This lead to my frustration in the end during Act 3 because my Capital was Elves territory and I had been disagreeing with the Elves up to this point, but this never was an issue in the past because my capital were other races up to this point and it changed I believe with each Act, not sure why the capital isn't reflected with your most agreeable Race so this ultimately was a punishment from an unforeseeable choice I had no control over in Act 3 that felt I was getting punished for playing the game I thought I was suppose to be playing instead of trying to make everyone balanced.
Trochę krótka i prosta. Na koniec rozdziału wystarczy poczekać parę tur żeby w następnym wystartować z dużą liczbą kart, pieniędzy i punktów nauki. I słabe SI dowodzonych jednostek. Poza tym fajna zabawa smokiem i ciekawa zabawa RTS.

Certified good game for Bad Dragon Commander enjoyers
A unique and fun RPG-Strategy that keeps you coming back for more.
Gameplay is a little basic but the overall loop is fun. Story choices actually feel like they have impact, even if only to a small degree. The stories themselves are interesting and give you the impression of something an actual aspiring monarch would have to put up with.
