I have frankly no clue what Codemasters was thinking when they made this. The driving is awful, too arcadey for what i'd expect from a Dirt game. The driving is just boring in general and even with all assists turned off the game still counter-steers for you. Not to mention the awful physics. Like how do you regress this much from previous games? At least the graphics are nice. This is not a good arcade racer, it's not a good dirt game and the career mode is somehow worse than previous titles. Edit: not to mention there is no point to point rally mode with a co-driver either. Like why?

This game starts off well enough but it is very repetitive and it gets boring very fast. I was hoping for a DiRT 3 type of experience and it just isn't there. Unless it is deeply discounted save your money.
for those who like to drive in a circle constantly, driving whit a controller feels absolutely terrible in this game (i miss dirt 3)

Внимание! Это не ралли. Покупая игру серии DIRT я ожидал гонки с атмосферой ралли и присущей спецификой, а получил безликие гонки толпой по абстрактным грунтовым тропинкам. В серии DIRT была игра с похожим духом, НО она была не номерной и с подзаголовком что давало понять её отличия по духу от 2/3/4 игры серии. Кроме того игра явно деградировала по сравнению с 3/4 частью серии, физика ощущается хуже и многие функции были странно потеряны, почему я не могу настроить машину перед гонкой ( что было в 4-й части как минимум). Ещё огромным ЖЫРНЫМ минусам есть "уровнялово" всех- машин и мультикласс гонки, почему я на порше 911 (930) 1975 года участвую в гонке с протраками это выглядит абсурдно. Но даже это не так абсурдно как то что на клавиатуре нельзя создавать винилы, в 4-й части такой фигни не было, это потерянные технологии предков? Той-же форзе или нфс клавиатура не мешает создавать винилы. Игра полностью разочаровала и не оправдала мои ожидания, а отсутствие локализации добило впечатление от игры.
Literally downgrade from all the dirt games. Physics are much worse than Dirt 2/3, not even talking about graphics.....
not worth your time. unless you're 5 years old, the racing is far too basic to be engaging. tracks are 5 cars wide at all times with no complexity or depth to them. the game's "culture" is cliche and cringe. the UI/UX feels like it's still in beta. the campaign had literally nothing interesting going for itself. i get the feeling that this game was meant to be a hit with "the kids" with all the vibrant colours and effects. yeah, the tracks look gorgeous, but that's about it. if this were literally the only racing game out there then it would be fine, but you can find something far more suited to your preferences by looking elsewhere.
大家都觉得4的拉力好玩，那你5就多做点拉力图出来啊，更新一下画质，多点地图多点车，皆大欢喜，看看你现在做坨什么东西出来，想搞美漫风没搞明白，想抄极品飞车没抄明白。物理引擎是坨大的，手感从硬核拟真变成全油硬拐180度大弯，地图绝大部分是和几个唐人路怒ai跑圈，镜头晃的要死，车辆让我没一点购买欲望，就这还出DLC狠狠捞呢，烂匕工作室赶紧倒闭算了，这一百块钱就当给码王亲妈的丧葬费
If you want a NFS arcade driving style, with no logical physics at all. you'll love this nonsense.
