Dirt 5 is like a driver who can’t decide which road to take, half-committed to being a serious rally sim, half-committed to being an arcade spectacle, and never really excelling at either. Instead of blending the two styles, it just stalls out in the middle of the track. For a game released in 2020, the graphics are shockingly underwhelming. The muddy textures and bland tracks feel dated, especially compared to other racers from the same period. Combine that with the structure of the game, and you quickly realize how shallow the experience is. Races feel less like exciting challenges and more like an endless grind toward the “final” event. There’s no story, no real sense of progression, just a checklist of tracks pushing you from point A to point B. The gameplay loop doesn’t do it any favors either. Every race starts you in dead last, with no qualification system or options to change your starting position. It feels like artificial difficulty rather than genuine challenge. Worse yet, the cars all drive and feel more or less the same, meaning there’s little reason to care about what you’re behind the wheel of. Dirt 5 also throws you into Gymkhana events after a handful of standard races, expecting you to pull off stylish drifts and tricks without any real preparation. At least Dirt 3 had an open practice area where you could experiment and get comfortable with the handling. Here, it’s just “good luck, figure it out.” That’s not to say there’s nothing positive. The soundtrack is excellent, giving the races some much-needed energy. And the inclusion of James and Nolan from Donut Media is a fun idea, unfortunately, their delivery comes off forced and awkward, making the whole thing feel scripted rather than natural. All in all, Dirt 5 is a disappointment. It’s neither a satisfying arcade racer nor a serious rally experience, and what’s left in between is bland, frustrating, and forgettable. if you're expecting of Dirt 2 Rallycross with a Dirt 3 point to point timed rally gameplay, you will heavily disappointed, nuff said but if you're expecting Sega Rally Revo (yes Revo, not Sega Rally 1/2, Revo are total different compare to Sega Rally 1/2) you will have fun like i did this is like Codemasters take on their own version of Sega Rally Revo, you could call them "Codemasters Rally Revo" instead of "Dirt 5", there is a lot of similarities between this game and SR:Revo, from open wide track designs with setpieces that focus on spectacle, floaty arcade car handling model, and various of offroad vehicle class, the resemblance is there as long you pretend this is not part of the "Dirt" series, this game is fun
I'm neutral on this game. It's pretty fun for a while, but it's nothing special. The game likes to stutter here and there at random, hence the negative review.
Na moral, que jogo horrível esse, erra em todos os pontos: jogabilidade, gráfico, carros, pistas, diversão. Esse game é uma vergonha de tão ruim que é. Isso é só um desabafo, é arrependimento de ter comprado esse game. NÃO COMPRE ESSA BOMBA!!!!!

[h1] DiRT 5: criticado por lo que no es, ignorado por lo que sí logra [/h1] Muchos han condenado a DiRT 5 simplemente por no ser el simulador que esperaban. Y es cierto: no lo es. Pero tampoco lo pretende. Desde el inicio se presenta como un arcade desenfrenado, con carreras alocadas, escenarios vibrantes y jugabilidad accesible. Y en ese terreno, brilla con luz propia. Sí, no tiene físicas ultra realistas ni destrucción detallada de vehículos al estilo FlatOut. Pero lo compensa con una experiencia visual y sensorial espectacular: efectos climáticos dinámicos, entornos sorprendentes, luces, colores y una atmósfera muy viva El repertorio de circuitos es amplio y diverso. Los vehículos también son variados y tienen una personalización visual bastante decente. ¿La IA es fácil? Sube la dificultad. A eso se suma una selección musical super movida que tiene, es mas gracias a este juego descubrí mi banda favorita nwn, y un diseño artístico vibrante, con una personalidad casi festiva. No es exageración decir que DiRT 5 es uno de los juegos de carreras más extravagantes y alegres que he probado en años. Y por si fuera poco: pantalla dividida local. Un detalle que muchos estudios modernos ignoran y que aquí está, funcionando sin problemas algo que sinceramente agradezco muchísimo. No es perfecto. Pero tampoco es justo el trato que ha recibido. Si buscas algo más relajado, colorido y caótico, o simplemente te interesa el género arcade, dale una oportunidad a DiRT 5, yo creo que deberías dársela :)
Давно не получал удовольствия и драйв от гонки, не отвлекаясь на что либо еще. Куча локаций разных стран. После прохождения нескольких гонок в карьере становится доступен режим РАЗДЕЛЕНИЯ ЭКРАНА! Хорошая графика, особенно дождя и грязи.
NPC cars drive a bit slower, so they are beatable, but they drive flawlessly over any terrain/conditions. So if you spin out and have to back up or turnaround, welcome to 12th place. Likewise if you go slightly off course, off a cliff etc, you are reset in 12th place. So this game is a constant effort to fight back for position from 12th place. Otherwise its a fun game, but it gets frustrating when a spinout whiile driving on a sheet of ice means that race is lost.
Huge downgrade from Dirt 4. It boggles my mind they don't simply sell the old one again instead of this.
