I love dinosaurs, and the spinosaurus is my favorite. Saw this game and thought "hell yeah this looks sick!" unfortunately, this game has made me dislike the spinosarus. Up until the third boss the game was ok, the small enemies were just to slow you down and didn't ever pose a real threat. First two bosses were fun, teaching you about the mechanics of the game. One of which is a parry and block feature. The second boss then teaches you about red attacks which are unblockable. The third boss has ONLY red attacks, so dealing melee damage is nigh impossible in the fight without abilities. Ended up being an extremely boring fight as you run around the arena doing air slashes at it. Aside from the enemies, bugs are also apparently as soon as you launch the game. Lighting bugs aren't as bad as Ark, but are still there. There are some clipping issues, but none too bad. Just had one moment where the camera clipped through the floor during a cutscene. Another grievance I had is the targeting system. There's a setting to turn it off, but it doesn't actually turn it off. It just makes it less egregious. I don't see how someone could play for more then 10 minutes without turning it off. Overall, the concept is really cool and could be super fun, but I think this game is just gonna sit in my library as a funny game to show friends for 5 minutes.
Dino wid a sword
Esse jogo é simplesmente incrível, cumpre sua promessa de ser um tipo de Dark Souls com dinossauros e foi o primeiro jogo que eu platinei, um dos melhores jogos que já joguei.
55 deaths and I beat the game. Just missing 4 achievements, Boss Rush and upgrades being the primary ones 3 things I would love to see get added in future updates The ability to continue your save file after beating the final boss, just resetting you back to the last save point. More areas to access after the final fight, it would go hand in hand with the last point More Boss SP to let you get all abilities to max on 1 save file Pros: It has a wonderful idea, theme, and concept and runs with it well It's nowhere near AAA price Fun gameplay loop Cons: 30/55 deaths minimum were on the last 2 bosses, and the 2nd to last felt unfair most of the time (I've platinumed Sekiro, AC6, DS3, and Elden Ring) so some tuning down of those bosses would be great As many others have said, it can be janky at times, and it doesn't seem to be greatly optimized, I know I had struggles getting over 60 fps on medium level custom graphics It is a pretty short game all in all Voice Acting isn't particularly great, but they did what they could with what they had I didn't really get the overarching plot past revenge and that's it, it did feel a little weird, but that's probably because it's relatively unexplored. Overall, an AMAZING game to have fun with if you are experienced with Souls-Likes. 8.7/10 which is fantastic for this developer being so new! It was well worth my money as someone who loved dinosaurs as a kid. I hope to see it updated and made even better in the future!
Great concept but could use some refining. Some enemy movesets give a split second indicator of what attack it is but really the laggy gameplay is what's dragging it down. I fully intend on playing it fully once it's been optimized and hotfixed though
Hilarious concept, great execution. There's some jank, but the ride is short enough and fun enough to overlook it
