[*]It is silly and funny to see gun-totting dinosaurs running around shooting at people [*]Dinosaurs do have special abilities—such as flight, pouncing at an enemy and executing them, or flinging them off as projectiles using your jaws! [*]With that said, since all but 1 dinosaur (a very basic one) belong to the Nazis, the Nazi faction is undoubtedly overpowered. Nazis are still composed of normal soldiers within their flanks and thus do not miss out on machineguns, grenades or snipers. [*]And not forgetting the Nazi superweapon—the T-REX. This juggernaut can stomp enemies, let out roars that send enemies flying, and gobble them up to restore hp. [*]It appears that the Triceratops maps are missing and hence this other juggernaut cannot be played, which is a regret. [/list] [h1]Art & Graphics ★★★☆☆[/h1] [list] [*]Half-Life era graphics; nostalgic but not great. [*]Map quality is inconsistent—some maps are beautifully-textured and well-lit, while some are roughly done with many locations of a map looking the same. The night maps especially have awful lighting. [*]Artworks are well-illustrated and adopt a fitting style of propaganda posters. The fake newspaper prints reporting about military dinosaurs are hilarious. [/list] [h1]Music & Sounds ★★★★☆[/h1] [list] [*]Appropriate musical style of that era, well-edited with effects that mimic the audio technology of the 1940s. [*]Using military band tunes to accompany in-game announcements is a nice touch. [*]Having a news broadcast playing in the main menu is unexpected, but works surprisingly well. [*]Short bios for each class but don't really amount to anything. [*]But an explanation is given for their weapon mounts — they are neural-wired to the dinosaurs' brains. [/list] [h1]Controls & Interface ★★★☆☆[/h1] [list] [*]Simple controls—WASD movement, Space to jump, Ctrl to crouch, Shift to sprint, MB1 fire, MB2 alt fire, E for special ability. [*]Dinosaurs have combos to their controls, which can be unintuitive sometimes. For example, the Dilophosaur needs to sprint (Shift+W) towards an enemy and headbutt them (MB2), pick up the downed enemy using its jaws (MB2), and then fling them as a projectile (MB1). Why button E is never used is sure puzzling. [*]Controls, combos and tips are clearly stated in the class selection screen, so at least there's an in-game reference always accessible at the press of a button.
