Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
TL;DR: Its Pokemon + SMT but easier. It also likes to waste your time but you can make it tolerable with mods. Its a decent JRPG but it seems to be committed to making the story take as long as possible. Gameplay wise, it's fantastic, like if Pokemon was good, even though it's not much more difficult than a Pokemon game. The worst part about it is the UI animations and cutscenes overall. They take too long. Anytime an input doesn't do anything because an animation needs to play out will drive one insane. I'd imagine if you play the game normally without grinding you wouldve spent more time reading the blandest anime dialogue than actually playing the game. In fact, there is a chapter that is only cutscenes. When not dungeon crawling, a lot of time you are just carted from place to place. Most of them you can't even leave to buy stuff. Or you are trying to find a specific NPC (or NPCS) where the only direction they give you (if they even give you one) is the map location. I recommend a speed hack at the very least, or a CT to increase your move speed. There's also a mod that lets you fast forward dialogue. It runs pretty well, even on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ surface pro. Don't play it if you aren't already accustomed to JRPGs wasting your time because its the best at that.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Game good. Digimon is fun it turns out. Evolving and de-evolving the digimon is a lot like the dragon quest monsters games which is fun and the story is pretty engaging too
Game is great but theres a crash at chapter 4 that requires you go into Nvidia settings and disable threaded optimization to fix it. Major known bug such as this going unfixed is insane to me :/ .... game still good though
well paced and joyful! o.o
7.5-8/10 for people who like monster-collector games like Pokemon (or at least liked them) A surprising 7/10 still for everyone else mostly due to story. Pros: Good monster-collector game, actually engaging storylines, great performance and a lot of content. Beats the newer Pokemon games quite heavily. Also, some actual cutscenes in an monster-collector.. rare. Cons: Due to it being an older console title, the camera perspective is stuck at a specific angle (no rotation possible). There are some other slightly weird UI choices or lacking information which is common for most slightly older games (especially when eastern and for consoles). I would also really advise an controller. At the second storyline there was a capture the flag type of sidequest .. I felt like they probably could have reduced the amount of sidequests that work like that from 10 to like 5 as it kinda did feel like a small timesink. Game exists of 2 games that use the same timeline (think of how Pokemon releases 2 games every time.. except now imagine only being the hero in one and being a grunt for one of the weird cults in the other) which have about 50 hours each. In the main game you're basically a party saving the entire world .. this happens through solving detective cases mostly Involving Digimon somehow. The more lighter type of good guy/bad guy story. In the second game, you're some sort of hacker where you are mostly hired to do jobs to hunt other hackers or groups. This story tries to play a bit more emotional and some more surprising outcomes. Both of these games happen in the same timeline and events add to the other games story. Some things that I didnt think about at the first game, after playing the second game I realised what actually happened in the background. The stories and the way they are represented actually is very good even compared to normal games. Comparing it to Pokemon would be an insult as that suggests that Pokemon has any story worth mentioning. There is a lot of Digimon to collect and digivolve. Combat can be slightly simplistic against wild enemies but can end up becoming a bit more comnplex against later bosses where ability/digimon use actually starts mattering... especially defense against status effects and type matching end up very important. Been a while since I spent this amount of time in a game and actually fully finished it as well. Expected an possible Pokemon clone with lots of grinding, but an fleshed out monster-collector with single-player worthy story and decent graphics.
Jogo muito bom, lembra bastante os de DS que também são ótimos, muita coisa pra fazer, se tivesse uma interação mais profunda com os personagens seria bem legal também.
Only part way through but it's so nostalgic for me, if Digimon was a big part of your childhood 10/10 recommend !!
with 167 hours (nice) on record and chapter 16 or 17, and my actual first digimon game (im not counting the ones ive played on the blox) its very fun and grindy and i love grindy games and i LOVE digimon since i used to be a big pokemon fan but i switched to Digimon instead like last year, and the progression can be a bit repetitive but im used to doing the same crap over and over, so i like the evolution system with the ABI and COMP or friendship whatever its called and since its not just one linear line i can get other digimon and see how they work, and the other characters are full of personality (except our mc in CS, all i now he or she gets late at everything) and they voice acting is pretty good for me, as for the story im not done yet so ill probably say what i can its pretty good, its easy to follow, and uhmmm man idk what else to say but themes and such? also Mirie best girl or Yuuko So yeah would i recommend this to people who want to get into digimon? as a first game? yep if you want a fun story game to play and you like digimon this one is for you! unless you play time stranger of course thats in an entire league on its own. So Play Digimon Cybersleuth! if you got the money of course - By the #1 ChaosGallantmon Glazer (Oh right i forgot to mention im playing the game with a challenge of only using the digimon i got from the card packs and their evolutions and nothing else, i made some loops holes so i can use other digimon but ive been following my rules for the most part yall can ask more about it) (also i may have made some spelling mistake or whatever im like sleep deprived writing the review and its my first review in steam too i guess) Mirei mikagura is GOATED
