Need German sub Ansonsten ein sehr feines Indie Game in Episoden
Fun ! A little short, make me remember "Monkey Island" in the 90"s. Please continue, you can do best I'm sure !
Very polished AA point and click. Thematically close to Deponia, not only the Space, but the protagonist shamelessly grabs everything not bolted down and does other morally questionable things just to move forward in his quest. Awesome - more grabbing, less jabbing. The main game is in chapter 3 and others feel like intro/outro.

This review might be a bit on the late side, but every bit of attention can be helpful to the dev, and man, he deserves it! Dexter Stardust has a few weaker points, but to judge the game fairly, you have to have the right perspective. I have read people complaining about the game's lenght. If DS had been developed by a decent-sized team, that would be a valid point. But that's not the case. In fact, only 4 people are credited as creators/co-creators. If you ever even tried to develop a game of your own, you will know how much respect an indie-game of this size actually deserves. Hint: a LOT! The graphics are professionall, I've seen worse animations from bigger teams and the sound design, while not spectacular, still does its job well. The overall difficulty is a bit on the low side, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It allows for a quite steady progression. I even think that a higher difficulty might have been too much for a story that is, after all, just the first part of a larger narrative. I was thorughly entertained and I can't wait for the sequel! P.S. Play this and The Abandoned Planet. I hope the ending of that game ties somehow into the Dexter Stardust narrative.
Good game, well drawed, good voiceover and well optimized. good Point and click game. I recommend.
Neato!
Fun game. Great direction and voice acting. Puzzles were not too difficult. Ended on a cliffhanger, so I'm looking forward to seeing the end of the story in the next part!
I've been following this game since it's initial demo and know some of the people who worked on it so their was a lot of excitement going into it. It was definitely worth the wait! To me the puzzles were refreshing and not too difficult. Being a big adventure game fan but not having the time to finish one for several years it was nice to play a game that was just right and wasn't too taxing. The most enjoyable part for me is the story and characters. It has a very laid back feeling and doesn't take itself too seriously. The chemistry between the characters is fun and it even gets a bit emotional at times. I won't spoil anything but it did keep me very invested to figure out the mystery. The game is split up into 4 episodes which I think makes it good for newcomers to the genre. The graphics and sound are competently done and I'm impressed it was only done by one person. I think it's so cool how point and click adventure games have come back in this way. I look forward to seeing what Dexter Team Games accomplishes next!
It was a pretty decent Point & Click game. A bit cheesy though. I hope there's a sequel.
