Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

ITS OUT!
As of now i'm writing this as a negative review, this is because due to some issue i wasn't warned of prior to buying the game i'm unable to play, everytime i try to boot the game up it just won't open and instead display a error message looking for a specific driver or up to date drivers, 1. all of my drivers are up to date and 2. the specific driver required seems to be only available on a windows 11 computer, mine is windows 10 without the ability to update to windows 11, normally this would be a me issue, but i was not warned that this specific driver would be needed to play the game, additionally the min requirements for the game list windows 10, so there was no way for me to know i could not play the game before buying it, i will give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe i'm stupid or uneducated, and if so could anyone please give me a solution, if there is no solution tell me, i really don't want to refund this game and i want to play it, but if i get informed there is no solution other than getting a windows 11 computer i will refund, i've also tried contacting the devs, or who i could reach, to where i wasn't helped with the in my opinion pretty big issue, i wasn't even given a answer to whether or not this was my fault or not either, again benefit of the doubt maybe the devs are looking into it and i haven't given enough time for them to respond but until i get a definitive answer i will be leaving this as a negative review, again i really do want to play this game, if anyone can help. Please do.

not finished yet, near the end of the game i believe, though completion % sits at 17% and 10 hrs ingame, Very Good, exactly what id hoped and waited for, with some small flaws. probably a 7-8/10 Game feels like a mix of Hollow Knight and Undertale (tone and art style, though i havent played much undertale so i could be wrong) Much smaller game (10-15 hours) than other similar games My main issue with it WAS the price, being just below silksong with a fraction of the content, but the price has dropped to 15.95 aud which i think is a very fair price flaws: (mostly preferences or small complaints) Apparently doesnt have cloud save? (ive only played on one device) Being able to look down so you dont jump to your death would be great The roll ability is pretty much useless Fast travel shouldve been introduced much sooner Cant skip cutscenes (may have been fixed already) Better achievements would be nice DLC PRETTY PLEASE MR GOODGIS
Rating: 5-6/10 (Mixed feelings) General Thoughts:
The game is not really what I expected (maybe because I had high expectations from devlogs), but I just accepted it as it is. I don't really think the game is worth $20, it's a little steep when compared to other titles like Animal Well or Hollow Knight.
What I didn't like:

The start: The worst part of the game is at the very start. The first two hours are really sluggish and enemies have too much HP to match the pace.
Runbacks & Checkpoints: The game has some nasty runbacks. Checkpoints are really far apart, so I often went for a boring approach to farm health just to stay alive.
Fast travel exists, but it's also annoying to get to sometimes.

Combat incentive: Fighting enemies is not rewarding because you lose everything when you die. Farming currency is too easy anyway, so I just went around enemies as fast as possible.
Annoying enemies: I absolutely hated
the mages at Gizmo Gearhouse, and it was so annoying to get them to teleport in front of you when you try to reach some platform. The randomness of it wasn't very fun.

Exploration & Loot: The map feels really empty. Finding chests or tickets was often disappointing because it was just standard enemy currency, feeling like filler loot.
Item UI: Item swapping was kinda annoying because of additional menus. There should be a faster way to swap items, maybe like in Animal Well.
Boring items: Some items were kinda boring, like
the stopwatch that doesn't even stop enemies, and is mainly used to get through one objective
.
Unclear Navigation: There could be more hints that you shouldn't be in some locations yet. For example:
I went to Giant Grotto very early after only getting the stopwatch... and ran across the whole map numerous times just to get stuck because I hadn't unlocked other abilities. At the Pipeyard area, the water was so slow I missed a further location and was stuck for like 2 hours searching where to go next. Magma keys could have been just 3 fragments of one key, because it was really frustrating to go back every time and find out you need another key.

What I liked:
The art style and music are pretty good. I like how the player movement feels, and I really enjoyed using the revolver
and charged shot. The flamethrower was also cool but too late-game to really enjoy fully.
I really started to enjoy the movement after reaching
Mt. Melty and getting the dash ability
. There could have been more of this type of platforming. I overall liked the bosses
(my favorite was the dragons)
, but there were some boring walkbacks. I really liked the idea of the
mod grid
, and I thought that was pretty neat.

Overall, I give this like a 5, maybe 6 out of 10, so just mixed feelings about it. Maybe after some updates, it will get better. But as for now, with all the bugs and annoying little things (like watching the boss intro every time you die to a boss), this is my opinion. I really tried to like this game, and I had some fun with it, but it just needs some polishing. I will go back to it after some time to get the achievements and update the review if anything major changes. TL;DR: Kinda buggy and annoying at the moment, not worth $20.
Developed by Goodgis and published by Firith Studio, Dewdrop Dynasty offers a refreshing interpretation of the Metroidvania formula by replacing gloomy landscapes and oppressive atmospheres with a world overflowing with charm, humor, and colorful pixel art. From the moment the adventure begins, the game embraces a playful personality that separates it from many of its contemporaries. Every environment is packed with expressive details, quirky inhabitants, and imaginative creatures, creating an inviting setting that encourages players to wander off the main path simply to see what surprises await. Rather than relying on a dramatic narrative alone, the game builds its appeal through exploration, clever mechanics, and an unmistakable sense of fun. One of the game's greatest strengths lies in its unique approach to movement. Instead of treating combat and traversal as separate systems, Dewdrop Dynasty combines them through an inventive gun-jumping mechanic that allows players to launch themselves across platforms while simultaneously using their weapon in battle. This creates an energetic flow where every jump, shot, and maneuver feels interconnected. As players grow more comfortable with the controls, navigating difficult terrain becomes increasingly satisfying, rewarding precision and experimentation. The interconnected world is filled with branching routes, hidden rooms, environmental puzzles, and optional discoveries, making exploration feel consistently worthwhile. The inclusion of customizable map markers is a thoughtful feature that helps players keep track of locations they cannot immediately access, reducing unnecessary frustration while preserving the rewarding backtracking that defines the genre. Exploration is further enhanced through a wide variety of upgrades and collectibles scattered throughout the adventure. New abilities gradually expand movement options while unlocking previously inaccessible sections of the map, giving each major discovery a meaningful impact on progression. Hidden items encourage thorough investigation, while collectible tickets can be exchanged through vending machines for useful rewards that add another incentive to explore every corner. Cosmetic hats provide additional personality, allowing players to customize their appearance while occasionally offering gameplay benefits. These progression systems maintain a satisfying pace by ensuring that nearly every secret discovered contributes something valuable, whether through practical upgrades, amusing collectibles, or expanded exploration opportunities. Combat complements the exploration without overshadowing it. Regular enemies require players to combine agile movement with careful timing, while boss encounters place greater emphasis on mastering the game's traversal mechanics rather than simply dealing damage. Success often comes from learning attack patterns, maintaining momentum, and making intelligent use of newly acquired abilities. The visual presentation enhances every encounter with vibrant pixel animation and creative enemy designs that reinforce the game's whimsical identity. Accompanying the visuals is an energetic original soundtrack that consistently supports the lighthearted atmosphere while still providing excitement during more challenging battles. Although Dewdrop Dynasty embraces familiar Metroidvania conventions, it succeeds because it approaches them with its own distinctive style. The cheerful world, inventive mobility system, and emphasis on rewarding exploration give the experience a personality that stands apart from darker, more traditional entries in the genre. Players looking for relentless difficulty or deeply punishing combat may find the challenge level somewhat approachable, but those who appreciate exploration, polished platforming, and imaginative world design will find plenty to enjoy. The game maintains a welcoming balance between accessibility and depth, allowing newcomers to comfortably experience the genre while still providing enough secrets and optional content to satisfy experienced players. Dewdrop Dynasty is a delightful indie adventure that confidently establishes its own identity through creative mechanics, memorable presentation, and consistently enjoyable exploration. Its clever fusion of movement and combat, colorful environments, rewarding progression, and charming atmosphere combine into an experience that remains engaging from beginning to end. By emphasizing creativity and fun over grim storytelling, Goodgis and Firith Studio have crafted a Metroidvania that feels both familiar and refreshingly original. Rating: 8/10
This game really should be in early access and not released it's not ready. It's very buggy, cloud save doesn't work, crashes, and updates from the developer makes the game unplayable at time. Asked for a refund due to it being unplayable in it's current state. Has potential but the developer needs to work on tightening the controls, fixing the out standing bugs, and expanding the length of the game. In it's current state I can't recommend it.
the bosses attacks could be easier to predict but I enjoy this game so far
