Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game is peak not only is it very fun the price also dropped and its really cheap for a great game
I love this game!! But there are a couple things I found really annoying 1. the camera is WAY too behind. You should be able to see where you're going everytime I'm going down is always a gamble because I don't know whether I'm falling onto spikes or floor. 2. Teletulips should always be near a shop imo. This would just be nice. It would lower the amount of walking you'll have to do 3. SKIP CUSCENES!! If I've already seen the cutscene I don't wanna see it again! either add a cutscene skip button or don't have scene's play after I died 4. this one is a small gripe but I wish there was more gun mod's and I also think it would've been cool if there were multiple guns rather than just the one. At a certain point you don't need gun recoil anymore and it'd be cool to replace that with with a gun that does something different. I remember seeing that in the dev log videos but I guess it was scrapped. 5. the stone dragon ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks no one wants to wait around in order to damage a boss 6.I wish time stop worked on enemies even if it only sightly slows the down might as well just call it a key rather than an ability 7. lastly I think chests should have more than just tickets and droplets. There are some chests that are hard to get and getting a ticket feels rather underwhelming. Like at least give me a clover! Would also be nice if you could find gun mods out in the wild. I kinda like messing with the tetris pieces but I only entered that menu like 3 times in my game because there just wasn't much gun mods and the gun mods are also insanely expensive no, I do not want to grind for 1,000 droplets just for one upgrade thank you! That's the end of my negitives. I really love this game! the gun felt very fun to use and I loved using dynamite!

This game is a perfect blend of difficulty and enjoyment. the art is amazing, the enemies are tough but rewarding to kill and the sound track is bliss. the puns were also pretty funny.
As someone who has been watching the devlogs for this game for years. I think Dewdrop Dynasty is a pretty solid indie metroidvania with a few hiccups atm preventing it from being truly great. THE GOOD: - The character designs are really cute and read quite well despite the simple pixel art - For the most part the game controls really well. Platforming is fun and shooting enemies feels responsive - The music genuinely really good, where the more relaxing piano tracks that play in some areas by far my favourites in the whole ost - The level design is really solid and I found exploring the areas to be very engaging, with each of the environments I explored feeling very distinct from one another. - The difficulty I believe is mostly good, with some engaging boss fights that don't feel too broken or easy THE BAD: - I'm about 3 hours in and the game is telling me '42% Complete'. For the price the game is asking, this completion number tells me the whole thing is about 7-8 hours long which is quite short - Retrying a bossfight has the entire cutscene in its entirety play again, which is rather annoying. - Some of the upgrades are kinda lame
moving a box is not a power up
- The controls can be very inconsistent at times. On my Xbox controller, the controls on the menus were inverted for some reason. Pressing the A button a single time to progress dialogue would have characters instantly finishing their sentences, instead of each character being added to the textbox on at a time for some reason. Other times I would be moving forward and my character would just stop all of a sudden? Not sure what exactly is happening there. TL;DR: I haven't beaten the game yet, and I do plan to because it's fun, but there are some areas I hope are improved in the future.
Not a fun game
You walk through a world filled with long, narrow passages without any notable events along the way. Everything looks the same and gets boring quickly. The movement is smooth and feels really good. I quit after the first boss fight, which was absolutely uninspired and incredibly generic. A boss that just runs back and forth and occasionally retreats into its shell. Seen it a thousand times, played it a thousand times. Is that how the game starts? Is that supposed to get you excited about the game? There are just too many Metroidvanias out there for me to waste my time on this one. TL;DR: Generic Metroidvania, if you're new to the genre, go for it. Boring for Metroidvania Veterans.
After around 13 hours and only 36% completion (LITERALLY WHERE IS THE REST OF THE GAME HIDING) I have finally beaten Dewdrop Dynasty, and I can confidently say it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. BUY THIS GAME. Especially with the new lowered price it is well worth your time and exceptionally fun and cute. It isn't the best metroidvania on the market, and sure it has some things to improve (which the dev is ACTIVELY working his butt off on improving, Goodgis you legend), but I think those things aside it acheives exactly what it wants to be, a fun and lighthearted experience for anyone to enjoy. A quick Pros and Cons List for those that want it! Pros: -The game is NOW (I understand that it wasn't always like this) very affordable and worth it's price -It has a bager soundtrack, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is so good -The art and characters and world as a whole are unfathomably charming -It has (in my own opinion) quite modest but very fun exploration and combat, both wandering around the map and fighting bosses/enemies were very enjoyable for me Cons: -There are still a lot of bugs (but these are actively being worked on and at an increibly rapid rate) -Secrets are very difficult to find -A few parts of the map feel quite disconnected -Getting Droplets (currency) can be quite tedious and saving up for stuff isn't always fun What I hope will be added/changed in the future: -Maybe 1 or 2 more areas to explore -An indicator for faux walls (like in other games), at the moment it is guess work and is as a result incredibly difficult to find secrets -More Ammolings. I remember seing these in the devlogs and seeming to have a bigger part, which they now do not. Overall I would give the game an 8.5/10 and highly recommend it to any metroidvania enjoyer :)
As of now i'm writing this as a negative review, this is because due to some issue i wasn't warned of prior to buying the game i'm unable to play, everytime i try to boot the game up it just won't open and instead display a error message looking for a specific driver or up to date drivers, 1. all of my drivers are up to date and 2. the specific driver required seems to be only available on a windows 11 computer, mine is windows 10 without the ability to update to windows 11, normally this would be a me issue, but i was not warned that this specific driver would be needed to play the game, additionally the min requirements for the game list windows 10, so there was no way for me to know i could not play the game before buying it, i will give the benefit of the doubt and say maybe i'm stupid or uneducated, and if so could anyone please give me a solution, if there is no solution tell me, i really don't want to refund this game and i want to play it, but if i get informed there is no solution other than getting a windows 11 computer i will refund, i've also tried contacting the devs, or who i could reach, to where i wasn't helped with the in my opinion pretty big issue, i wasn't even given a answer to whether or not this was my fault or not either, again benefit of the doubt maybe the devs are looking into it and i haven't given enough time for them to respond but until i get a definitive answer i will be leaving this as a negative review, again i really do want to play this game, if anyone can help. Please do.
