Overall yeah this is a good collection 3 games in 1 DMC1 - A good start to the series, love the atmosphere and combat it provided. Simple but fun game and a neat story. Albeit the cameras can be annoying and the game can be challenging. Recommend to play this to get started with DMC don't skip 1 it's good. DMC2 - Played DMC2. DMC3 - The best out of the 3. The gameplay, story, aesthetics, soundtrack all are awesome. I love it. It's a fun a game and is a hard one. Albeit there can be annoying stuff in this game and weird design choices. Overall though great game and tons of fun it rocks.

DMC3 is a great game - highly recommend playing with DMC3 Crimson's Style Switcher mode for a similar experience to the Switch port, makes the game extra fun being able to use more than just a single style lest you be highly limited in your combos without Swordmaster (as well as being able to use up to 5 weapons of each type.) Also Crimson fixes some visuals broken by the port such as the moon in the scene where Dante and Vergil meet atop the tower being dim as well as adding a 120fps cap, so even if you want a vanilla experience I'd recommend still using it with the vanilla preset. I can't speak for the others though I'll be checking out DMC1 eventually.

Just played 1 and 2. Highly recommended skipping the second game. Horrible mechanics, very clunky and not challenging at all. In a nutshell, feels like dreaming on Benadryl. Apparently has nothing to do with the upcoming storyline as well according to other reviews. First game was peak tho highly recommend

Note: this is only a review of DMC3 and not 1 or forbid 2 as I have not played those (I may play 1 at somepoint). Great game with great combat and neat level design - though it does sometimes become confusing on where to go as you're able to visit areas from most previous levels that become irrelevant to the current level/mission. Though the boss fights are a mixed bag of good, excellent, mediocre, and horrible. Story is the best in the series with the different character Arcs the main cast recieve, and many moments with a lot of love that was clearly put into making them. An early 2000s classic
dmc 2 being in this collection with these two gems of DMC games is like finding buried treasure chest in minecraft and having coastal armor trim and diamond in the same container as a poisonous potato. Otherwise, DMC 1 and 3 ( Dante's awakening ) are amazing and makes the purchase completely worth it
dmc1 is great, even though it may be old it still holds up verry well and it has incredible atmosphere and great combat, though the game can get a bit anoying at times with some janky platforming,terrible underwater segments and an outdated life system. 8/10 dmc2 i did not play as i heard its one of the worst games ever and from what ive seen it has that reputation for a reason. id recomend skipping dmc 2 dmc3 is an absolutely incredible game with some of the best combat ive seen in any game especially when you consider its age. the storry is also prety good and vergil is probably the greatest rival character in gaming history. when it comes to the OST its equally as great as the gameplay with "devils dever cry" now being one of my fav tracks in any game. 10/10 overall this is a must play for every fan of action games and you really cant go wrong with getting it on sale for 5 bucks
