You play Adam Jensen, an ex-SWAT specialist who's been handpicked to oversee the defensive needs of one of America's most experimental biotechnology firms. When a black ops team breaks in and kills the very scientists you were hired to protect, everything you thought you knew about your job changes.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Unskippable 6 minutes cutscene every time u start a NG+
top
Primarily a stealth game, more so than shooter, it does excel in the number of ways (literal and figurative) you have to tackle an objective. The maneuvering and detection mechanics are pretty intuitive, though I did have to change some key mappings. The story is great as well; you can walk through without much interaction and understand what is happening, but optional bits of information and lore are pretty much everywhere, and I really loved that the game let me enjoy it on my own terms. That approach definetely enriches the experience withough shoving all exposition in your face. My only point of contention is the NG+, which does not allow you to bring over the gear from the last playthrough. Kind of defeats the purpose of a NG+ for me. There is still some replay value, but I would have loved to just have some fun with the late game weapons. I also recommend the directors cut, especially for the the Missing Link mission. A great addition to the story and atmosphere, and for immersive players, probably the strongest reason to not do a pacifist run.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

An amazing prequel that is faithful to it's original source content. Themes surrounding global conspiracy, unethical corporations, human trafficking, divisions amongst citizens both financial and physical, are just as strong as the first game. I absolutely loved every minute of this game, the cameos/fanfare for those who have played the first was very enjoyable too. [Note]: If you are running this with an Nvidia GPU & monitor over 100 hz, you will have to force set the refresh rate to 104 within Nvidia's Control Panel. I also had game breaking crashes around audio output devices too (not so much fun) I was only able to play the game with headphones on for it to not crash. (Just a result of the games age I am guessing) Be patient with trying to solve bugs, this game is worth it in my opinion.
I think it's the best one
Simply put: A masterpiece. Easily a 10/10 experience. An amazing follow-up to one of the greatest games of all time. The story, characters, atmosphere, and gameplay are just amazing, and they've held up incredibly well over the years. Arguably on par with the original Deus Ex. This is a prequel to the original game, set in 2027, and features an entirely new protagonist: Adam Jensen. A solid character with a compelling backstory. The characters are all very well written. I personally really enjoy the dynamic between Adam, Sarif, and Pritchard. The game is similar to the original game, so you have stealth or Rambo options: Quietly sneak around and avoid security, or go in guns blazing. And the stealth and exploration features are superb. I like that the game switches between 1st & 3rd person perspectives. The combat system with augmentations and takedowns in this game are super satisfying. And the game gives you multiple options to either save/kill depending upon the scenario, you decide what path you want to go down to alter the fate of Adam. The atmosphere is different from the original. Instead of cold blues & greys, everything is soaked in a sepia filter with minimalistic architecture. The clothing & art direction is phenomenal. The soundtrack is absolutely awesome. Much more muted than the original game, but baked into the core DNA of the game. The amount of Easter eggs present in this game is absolutely baffling! I've never seen anything like it. Music, movies, tv, games - nothing is off limits to have a little Easter egg thrown into the mix. The stakes feel very big, and it all leads up to a massive climax. However, I think the main fault of this game is the boss fights, since they're really lackluster. Each of the bosses has a unique trait, however, you can kill them very easily - even on the hardest difficulty. Zero challenge.
After all this years, still an amazing game
