Detroit: Become Human puts the destiny of both mankind and androids in your hands, taking you to a near future where machines have become more intelligent than humans. Every choice you make affects the outcome of the game, with one of the most intricately branching narratives ever created.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember reading the reviews before I played and thought "it can't be that good". Well, for me it was. Astonishing, great dialogue and a rich story. I was on the edge of my seat at times, scared that my choices were going to drive the characters in a direction I didn't want. I nabbed it for under $10, it was a steal.
Detroit: Become Human, oh man, what do I say. It's an interesting game. Honestly I ain't even like it at first, weird ass camera angles, janky controls, a million different endings and at points it felt a lil rushed. It all had me on the edge but slowly it grew on me and by the end I was hooked. Quantic Dream just took the gaming playbook and threw it out the window, it's a common theme across their titles but this game might just take the cake. (7.5/10)
Years ago, when this game was first released, I didn’t have a PC to play it on, so I had to rely on stream playthroughs. I watched every single ending and every storyline detail. Just a year ago, I even watched a friend play through it again. I thought I knew the game inside out and wouldn't feel any sense of freshness until my sister gifted me a copy and I finally got to experience it firsthand. Playing it myself brought back memories of just how profound this game has always been to me. I've never forgotten what Carl said to Markus: "Decide who you are, and what you want to become. This world doesn't like those who are different. Don't let anyone tell you who you should be." Back when I first heard those words, I was at the lowest point of my life, and everything around me seemed dark and gray. That line was like a faint beam of light, giving me the courage and validation I so desperately needed. Even today, hearing it again resonates deeply within me. This is genuinely one of the best games I’ve ever played deeply meaningful, immensely engaging, and nothing short of a masterpiece. Huge thanks to the development team, and a special thank you to my sister for this gift.

This is a hard one. The visuals and game mechanics are good and I like the idea behind what they were trying to do, but it is difficult to get over how awful the writing is. Which brings me to the negatives. The writing, story and dialogue, is just beyond moronic. You have to completely turn off your brain and any critical thinking to be able to go along with what is happening. For example: 1 - The humans in the story are above and beyond ret@rded. They cant seem to understand that yelling and attacking an android is like punching a wall, kicking a chair, or yelling at a drone, or your mobile phone. It's an object mate, you're not achieving anything. And you will have to pay for the damage, so this over-the-top machismo is just fully ret@rded. 2 - The story cant decide what the rules are. One moment we are told machines cant feel pain, the next we see the android Markus react in pain when Leo punches it. LOL? It also gets angry, as if being punched by a human hand could cause bigger damage on it (it's made of metal and hard plastic) instead of the human hand. 3 - Why do the androids feel fear!? Why do they get stressed!?! Wtf is this bs. Who even added those features in and for what purpose. Completely nonsensical. 4 - Why is the police even bothering to interrogate the android at the police station!? Cant they just remotely connect to it's memory and get what they need? I can connect to my phone remotely and access my data from another device, but in this world where androids are known to be dangerous to humans, there is no feature to remotely connect to an androids memory? Dafaq?! This whole thing is just sooo stupid. 5 - You know it's an android, which means very durable and stronger, so why would you just bring it in the police station and cuff it like it was a normal human, instead of, I dont know, detach it's arms or something? Then act surprised when it broke free. Oh no, who could have predicted that? 6 - Why would shooting an android on the head kill it? It's an android, it doesnt need to have anything useful in its head. We have our brains in our heads, but an androids doesnt need to have that. Infact it's only critical components would be very small (think of how small your mobile is) and hidden somewhere more secure. 7 - The humans characters are generally over the top moronic and reprehensible. Like I understand it is a plot device, but come on man, this is just so dumb. 8 - Some of the stuff even the androids are saying are just dumb as hell. We use basic AI today, which can beraly be called AI, but it would never say some of the completely dumbass sh*t the androids say in this. Like, basic reasoning skills are missing. I could go on but you get the idea. TLDR: Get the game on a sale and expect to turn your brain off completely to be able to appreciate the rest of the game.
