For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short but sweet point and click. Challenging enough to keep my interest without being overly frustrating. Unique story line and concept which was refreshing. Completed in less than 3 hours, so a good one to get on a discount sale.
Detective From The Crypt is a charming point-and-click mystery adventure developed and published by BOV that blends supernatural storytelling with classic detective gameplay. Set in a gothic Victorian-inspired world, the game places players in the role of Jane, a young girl who awakens after death inside her family crypt. Rather than accepting her fate, she sets out to uncover the truth behind her own murder and the tragic deaths that have affected her family. Accompanied by a loyal ghost cat, Jane begins an investigation that gradually expands into a larger web of secrets, suspicious characters, and hidden motives. What immediately makes the game appealing is its unusual premise. Solving crimes as a ghost creates opportunities for creative storytelling that separate it from more traditional detective adventures. The narrative mixes mystery, humor, and supernatural elements in a way that remains engaging throughout the journey. As Jane explores her surroundings, she encounters a variety of eccentric characters, restless spirits, and unusual locations that add depth to the world. The story continuously introduces new clues and revelations, encouraging players to keep pushing forward to discover what really happened. The gameplay follows the familiar structure of classic point-and-click adventures. Players search environments for useful items, examine evidence, speak with characters, and solve puzzles that unlock new information. Detective work plays a central role, with clues needing to be gathered and analyzed to form conclusions about various events. One of the more interesting features is the ability to study evidence and connect discoveries through investigative mechanics that help reinforce the feeling of being a genuine detective. Instead of relying on action sequences, the game focuses on observation, logic, and exploration. The environments are beautifully illustrated with a hand-drawn art style that suits the game's tone perfectly. Graveyards, family estates, crypts, museums, and other mysterious locations are filled with visual details that support the atmosphere. While the setting revolves around death and murder, the presentation avoids becoming overly dark or frightening. The colorful artwork and whimsical character designs create a balance that makes the game approachable for a broad audience. This lighter approach helps the mystery feel intriguing rather than oppressive. The writing is another notable strength. Dialogue often carries a sense of personality and charm, particularly during interactions between Jane and her ghostly feline companion. The supporting cast contributes to the mystery while also adding moments of humor and curiosity. As the investigation unfolds, players uncover family secrets, hidden relationships, and unexpected twists that make the narrative more compelling than a straightforward murder case. The supernatural setting allows the story to explore unusual scenarios while still maintaining a coherent detective structure. Puzzle design is generally satisfying and fits naturally into the investigation. Most challenges require careful examination of clues and logical use of collected items. Adventure game fans will appreciate the traditional design philosophy, although newcomers may occasionally find themselves retracing steps or revisiting locations in search of overlooked details. Fortunately, the game provides enough guidance through notes and objectives to keep frustration relatively low. Solving puzzles often feels rewarding because progress is directly tied to uncovering more of the mystery. Another valuable aspect of the experience is its replayability. Multiple endings encourage players to revisit the story and examine different outcomes based on the conclusions they reach. Since the game's central appeal revolves around discovering the truth, alternative endings provide additional incentive to explore every clue and fully understand the events surrounding Jane's death and her family's fate. Detective From The Crypt succeeds because it combines traditional adventure mechanics with an imaginative supernatural premise. Its engaging mystery, memorable protagonist, attractive visual style, and enjoyable detective gameplay create an experience that feels both nostalgic and distinctive. While its deliberate pacing and classic point-and-click structure may not appeal to players looking for fast action, fans of story-driven mysteries will find plenty to enjoy. It is a thoughtful and entertaining adventure that demonstrates how a strong narrative and creative setting can elevate familiar gameplay concepts. Rating: 8/10

I recommend, a cute little point and click, mystery, detective of helping ghosts and trying to solve the case of you and your family's death.

A short quest of who did it with 5 possible solutions and a cat hint system?! what would you want more? There are only a couple missing details which is pretty good for an indie game. I will check other games by this team.
adored this. great story and variation. If you like Clem you will enjoy this.
The aesthetic of this game is just right up my alley. The fetch quests, the puzzles, the layers between the two (e.g. a quest that is only resolved by solving a puzzle or resolving another quest to get something to resolve the first) just kept me engaged from start to finish, and enough to repeat things toward all achievements too. Forgive me in advance for one little digression and indiscretion, though. It's amazing how much a simple palette swap and a little more glow can do for a collection of pixels... 'live' Jane, okay, Ghost Jane: stone cold fox (pun only mildly intended).
