Destiny 2

Despite the game being officially dead, it may be in one of the best spots it's ever been in. One can only hope the servers stay up for years to come, because I know thousands of people will love this story till the day they die, myself included. The story is exquisite. The gameplay is phenomenal. The customization is so intuitive and deep. Two people can be running the exact same build and still play it so differently because they see different opportunities and vulnerabilities. I truly and honestly can't give this game enough praise, it was one that I took a long break from but still loved in the back of my head. I will despise Pete Parkinglot until the end of time for ripping the game I love so much to shreds. Embrace the wilds. Become a Hunter. Excise the unknown. Become a Warlock. Eat a crayon. Become a Titan. Save the world. Become a Guardian.

Fun with friends. A lot of changes since it was launched, more friendly to players who don't have time to play all day every day, despite my 1300 hrs on record i feel like i should say that. Early in release it felt like you had to have a fabulous party of 6 to play with all the time to get the full experience, but now most content is ok with groups of 2-3. And grinding isn't AS bad. The play style customization has SO many facets and layers... it's crazy. Not just armor stats, but sets, and furthermore bonuses, etc. Then you have class... and prismatic option... you can make your hero what you want it to be. Just expect to spend a decent amount of time getting to a point to where you feel like your build is "ready". Difficulty is also highly customizable for each persons experience, you can do as easy or as hard content as you want, but the rewards vary. Mixed reviews out there, some content is probably overpiced, but if you can find a good deal on a version that bundles it, i say jump on it, you can have a good time if you like adventure/rpg/space/min-max/fps games. A classic.

I really do hate parts of this game, but other parts are amazing. Whether this was supposed to be a halo reimagined or something else idk, but this game has truelly ended spectacularly and i cant wait for destiny 3

A shill of its former self. Awful decision followed by another awful decision by the higher ups lead this once amazing game to its demise. I had around 8k hours on console and i can barely stomach touching this game anymore. For me, the game no longer has that magic that it once had. If you have friends to raid with this will be one of the best games OAT for you. Changes that i dislike: The Portal, Weapon and armour Tiers, the new LFG system, the abilities arent as cool as they used to be but they are 10 times stronger than what they used to be, DCV, the new soulless UI, and so much more. it's by any means not an awful game but its not what it used to be.
