I've played Shadow Tactics so knew I would like this. I think this is better. Better dialogue, story and character abilities.
An improvement of an already great game (Shadow Tactics), i had lots of fun with this one although a couple of badges got in my nerves, overall an amazing experience and tough i have not played a bunch of games of games in this genre i would venture to say that this is one of the best exponents of the genre and finally it was a decently challenging to get the 100%

Good game but comes off as redundant compared to Shadow Tactics. Feels like a 70% overlap (literal, where the palette for character types is carried over, most special abilities are the same albeit shuffled, mostly same mechanics, etc.). Where they do finally deviate from what Shadow Tactics did and introduce new skills (e.g. lure, control, etc.) or new ways to do things, it's great because it feels new and worthy of a new entry. Maybe some folks wanted "more of the same" but I was hoping for something that remixes the gameplay more. All in all, still worth a playthrough if you enjoyed Shadow Tactics.

Recommended 👍 Desperados 3 is one of the best real-time stealth strategy games I've ever played. Every mission is carefully designed, the characters are memorable, and finding creative ways to complete objectives is incredibly satisfying. The gameplay rewards patience, planning, and experimentation, making every successful mission feel earned. I genuinely loved every minute of this game and hope the developers continue the series. I'm already waiting and hoping for Desperados 4. Please make it happen!
