Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.89/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

在monotone的色調下,下雨的Quito是一座涼爽的山城。正好在26年世界杯期間玩的這款游戲,似乎能找回兒時無憂無慮玩耍的回憶。
Despelote is a compact experience, with pretty decent football gameplay, and an endearing story with insights on the emotion surrounding Ecuador's qualification for the 2002 World Cup. The insights the game offers includes some trivia, a reflection on the electric social atmosphere, but what it really manages to communicate is this feeling that lies deep within Julián. It is sometimes difficult to communicate nostalgia tastefully, but Despelote feels effortless with how it gets the feeling across. The sensory experience, the colours, the sounds, blending in and out of reality, somewhere between a memory and an imagination. Sometimes more real, more remembered, sometimes, less real, more colourfully imagined. Despelote is nostalgia: looking back at your life through rose-tinted (or in this case duotone pixelated) glasses. It's not perfect but it could put a smile on your face.

Nostalgico, lindo e diferenciado. Torci muito para Venezuela nessa copa de 2026!
Juegazo la verdad. 10/10
Really beautiful
I hate football, and I hate the World Cup more, but I don't hate my home country, Ecuador. Since it's the World Cup season (sadly Ecuador is out; my review would've been perfect if they had won the cup). I thought, why not? I've had this on my wishlist for quite some time, and who knows, maybe I'll get a kick of nostalgia; I did. Thank you to everyone who made this game. PS: I love the chochos man. Un juego increíble; para mí es un 10 de 10.
Someone else’s childhood nostalgia for soccer, Ecuador, and the excitement surrounding the country qualifying for the World Cup in 2001. I found the game to be pretty boring. It's basically a walking sim narrative with the occasional soccer. The good news is it only lasts a few hours.
Good art atmospheric game. Recommend playing in the evening alone in one go (est. 2,5h) You live small memory of a Ecuador through lense of kid in south america where football was always dominant sport in society from young age. I feel like it truthfully shows what is fun about being a kid and how selective is their brain. The world design is very interesting, simple, but with few graphic tricks it leads the player to look at the things the same as kid and somehow feels that there is no need for better textures and definitely feels better playing it than seeing pictures of the game. Also casual dialog and calming music from people in the neighbourhood really sets the mood.
A sweet lil game about the beautiful game (football). The deep fried grainy aesthetic is really cool too.
i will never forget this game.
