Muy mal funcionamiento del juego aun cuando lo juegues en windows xp para mejor compatibilidad, nose deja jugar esta muy bugeado el juego y por lo tanto se necesita un source port de este juego ya!, gastar dinero en este juego en este estado tan abandonado donde el soporte para sistemas mas nuevos es nefasto no vale la pena

This game is unbelievably fun. I can't believe I haven't tried it before. I can't decide if this is the best DESCENT or not. I love 1 and 2. But this is something special.

Descent é um clássico arcade com elementos de jogos mais novos. Criaram uma historinha para a série (esqueça) e incrementaram os gráficos 3D o que para a época era impressionante, a ainda hoje tem um visual legal. Mas é para fãs de arcade, não espere muita moleza e o gameplay é meio raro de se ver, pode ser difícil de pegar o jeito.

the original windows version is absolute pain to setup the new mac and linux versions by icculus are great though as they require very little update: with the source code releasing setting the game up on windows (and in fact anything with a loaf of bread for graphics lmao) will probably be easy as 1-2-3

Ran into the save-files issue, so I tried to get this running on my Windows 10 machine. Audio-bugs galore and the aiming on both Joystick and Mouse feels like dogwater. Wait until someone reverse-engineers the game and releases a patch that consistently works. InjectD3 and DXwnd are supposed to help, but they don't make things playable for me on Windows 10. Oh, and it crashes, _a lot_. Update: after playing through both Retribution and Mercenary, this game is hot garbage and didn't sell well for a reason. The final boss-fight in Mercenary is garbage, but the levels are decent. Retribution is just a steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥ and not worth your time. I will likely never play this game again it is so bad. Descent 1 & 2 are some of my favorite games and it's so frustrating see how how bad this game is. Skip this, just play Descent 1 + 2.
