What you need to know: This game was made for one reason and one reason only: People didn't like the ending of Deponia 3. And Doomsday tells you one thing: It could've been worse. This game is three levels on top of the whacky humor you already know and love from the previous installments. No one would've thought that Rufus could be an even bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ than he was before. But this game is prove. Other than that, it's more of the same: More riddles, more whacky landscapes and crazy characters, some of the trilogy even get some backstory (e.g. Lotti, my beloved). Simply put: More Deponia.
Deponia Doomsday conseguiu manter o humor característico da série e foi bom revisitar aqueles personagens. Achei a história mais confusa em alguns momentos por causa das viagens no tempo, e alguns puzzles continuaram com aquela lógica meio maluca de sempre. Ainda assim, foi uma continuação divertida e uma despedida que me deixou satisfeita por ter acompanhado a série até o fim.

I hated playing this game and it was literally painful to go through in most of the parts, specially considering how perfectly great the Deponia trilogy is. I never want to play it again, but I cannot stress how perfect this game is from an execution point of view: it's EXACTLY what the developers wanted: to seemingly make a "new deponia game" for all those people that complained about the finale of the trilogy and wanted more. This whole game experience is such a fine satire of those people; it's not expressed through words, nor through visuals, but through the experience and the totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up story. I absolutely recommend this game if you want to experience the greatest, best executed "♥♥♥♥ you delusional fans" by a gaming studio*, I do not recommend this game if you want to enjoy yourself playing a classic graphic adventure *having played the Deponia trilogy beforehand is necessary in order to experience it
Honestly, shocked. I went in skeptical and disappointed after the third game, but I surely didn't expect that this one would become my favorite game in the series. It surely is still not perfect with messed up plot points, ridiculous riddles that are impossible to solve without guides, and some insensitive jokes, but it has soul in it. I loved the new mechanics and the overall story. This game never allows you to get bored even for a second. There is so many locations and cool characters that it is difficult to point out something specific. In short, wow
