HOLY BANGER! Had my eye on this game for a while and having just recently gotten back from a 3 week trip in Japan, it couldn't have released at a better time! An absolute banger and one of the best games of the year.
(First Impressions) We have two racing\driving\vehicle-related games that have been announced this year, with the first one coming out this year and the second one released very recently, like 2 weeks ago In the left corner, we have.... the Virgin Crazy Taxi World Tour: - Soulless corporate mobile-game ahh AI slop without any of the charm, flair, or unique art design the original Crazy Taxi games had And in the right corner, we have... the Gigachad Denshattack!: Now let's see... - Absolutely BANGING soundtrack (solid contender for best of 2026) - Awesome Studio Trigger-esque art and gorgeous cel-shaded visuals - Charismatic and fun characters with cool and flashy designs to boot - A Japanese voice cast comprised of up-and-coming seiyuu who have been given their time to shine - Exhilarating, addicting, and high-adrenaline train riding gameplay with plenty of great mechanics, like drifting, grinding, and plenty of tricks (which I'm honestly not too good at since I always get bronze rank at the end of each level on my first try on average LOL but hey if you're having fun that's all that matters) - Is about as anti-corporate as you can get with a game like this, even takes potshots at AI slop lmao - And on top of that we got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Platinum Games-esque action sequences, and on the first boss battle, no less, which has you battle a giant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gyaru Gundam (try saying that three times fast) formed out of several trains! Complete with dynamic music! Without spoiling what happens in the battle proper, this is pretty much the Metal Gear RAY of this game Yeah, I think we all know who is going to win this fight.

The game has a surprisingly high skill ceiling and holy hell it's fun. Each new mechanic adding more to it, it can definitely get overwhelming, but once you hit the zone? This is one of the most fun games I've played in recent times and for 20€ I definitely recommend more people to pick it up and give it a shot!!
I LOVE trains
10/10 GOTY
Very good game, highly recommend, you get new mechanics almost until the end of the game, truly an insane experience. One of the best matches of gameplay+music, one of the best OSTs Ive heard, all bangers and incredible variety.
