Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

„Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles” to gra, w której odkryłem kilka ważnych prawd życiowych: 1. A przede wszystkim — Tanjiro jest zbyt miły, by funkcjonować w prawdziwym świecie.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 26: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I could only recommend it on 2 conditions: - You are a fan of the series or actually don't know the series and want some good anime to play and watch - You have a VR headset I love the series, although for whatever reason the third season in Germany is only available with German subtitles, so I stopped watching until I improve my German to that level. Region locks for languages are as retarded as the pricing of that game. And done just for the same reason - greed and nothing else. When I saw this game on Steam (and on a big discount) I was hyped, even if that meant to relive the same story twice. And since it's made with Unreal engine, I was able to play the whole game in VR - and that is just amazing. The game looks exactly like the series, except in 3D and in VR you get this insane depth to it, it really feels like you are actually there. That alone is enough to recommend to try it out to anyone who has a headset. However, the game mechanics are so basic, even mobile games nowadays go further. What you do is basically just run a linear road, collecting secondary quest points (just some short cutscenes, basically) and golden orbs. Then you get a fight, which feels exactly the same as all the other fights in this game. It's always a 1 on 1 (well, you can get the help of companions as skills to activate every now and then) and it's like a basic fighting game. There is a progression in difficulty, but it still feels rather boring, because it's so repetitive. If you are collecting everything, you get "rewards" which are just some video cuts from the series, which I already saw at that point, so I couldn't be bothered to rewatch, regardless of how good it is. And it ends where the first season does, if I remember right. So in my opinion, it definitely doesn't cost 60 euro that they are asking for the basic edition. And even on sale it's barely enjoyable, so I guess I would only grab the second one once it's on -80%, if that ever happens.
I love this game. It's really fun, and easy to learn. It doesn't have big skill gaps, unlike other fighting games, which means you can play to your hearts content without ruining it for your friends. This was a big problem for other PvP games I play with my friends. The game also has a campaign, which you can play too; however this only goes to the end of the Mugen Train arc. It doesn't have a lot of characters though, which brings me to why I'm giving this a negative review: Why did I give it a negative review? Buy Hinokami Chronicles 2. I don't have HC2, but I recently played it with someone who bought it. It's just a better version of this one: more characters, better graphics (check if you have a good PC though), easier controls (eg parrying and strong attacks). It might be more expensive, but it's definitely worth buying HC2 rather than HC, even though it has worse reviews. The only problem with HC2 compared to HC is that the characters need a bit more balancing, and that not all characters have been released at the time of writing this.
🔥 Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles – A Visual Love Letter to the Anime (9/10) Few anime games capture the heart of their source like The Hinokami Chronicles does. From the first swing of Tanjiro’s sword to the last emotional cutscene, it feels like you’re playing the anime itself — not just watching it. The visuals are breathtaking. Every battle is a moving painting: flowing effects, dramatic camera angles, and that signature ufotable energy pulsing through each strike. The story mode perfectly recreates the emotional beats of the show — and yes, you’ll probably tear up again even if you already know what’s coming. Combat is fast, flashy, and surprisingly deep once you get the hang of it. Every character feels faithful to their fighting style — Zenitsu’s lightning-fast bursts, Inosuke’s chaotic aggression, Tanjiro’s balance of calm and fury. And the ultimates? Pure anime perfection. The roster could use a bit more variety, and online balance can be rough at times, but honestly? When a game looks this good and plays this smooth, it’s hard to complain. 🌸 Verdict: 9/10 — A stunning, emotional experience that brings Demon Slayer to life with passion and respect. Whether you’re here for the story or the spectacle, you’ll leave feeling like a true slayer.
this is quite fun
