not that bad but the story is a bit lame

Granted this is an older title, but Brave Giant-developed HOG titles have always been kind of mid-tier among their peers. They're capable, sure, and there's nothing actually [i]wrong[/i] with the game, per se, but it does things that are annoying (like morphing objects; whose stupid idea was that?). If you're not a completionist, however, you will have fun with this game just fine and don't need to listen to me. Achievement hunters, however, have some things to consider. If you want to nab up every cheevo, then understand that this game is not going to be friendly for you. Among the scenes are sets of hidden objects while you're just walking around; all fine and good, but they are locked to the chapters or acts of the game so if you don't find them all, there's no going back. Second, several achievements are time-based and since there is no manual saving, you get [i]one[/i] chance to get things right or you have to start over again. Usually these games only last 3 or 4 hours for me, but I ended up taking on almost 3 more with repeated speedruns because of those timed achievements, and the ones I needed were near the end of the game. Moreover, if you ever EXIT these challenges by accident, you're done, even if you've got time to spare when you go back in. I don't know why there's the option to exit the puzzle at all, but a misclick can ruin your dreams. Do you [i]have[/i] to play like this? No, of course not. But lots of people play these specifically for grabbing up those cheevos and cards so consider this fair warning. The story itself is laughable HOG fare and doesn't feel out of place, although there [i]are[/i] games out there that do have pretty decent stories; this is not one of them. However, if you're looking to do the whole Demon Hunter series, well, I wish you good luck and hope you have a good time. Anyone else would do better to choose a different title in the Mundi library.

这家的解谜游戏我玩过不少，但这一部最让我难受。汉化翻译依然拉胯，小游戏的手感稀烂，番外剧情里的地图不能传送。偏偏还有一堆限时成就和无误点成就，我又是个收集党，想打成就要再玩一次。受不了了，不推荐！

I dunno I like Artifex Mundi but this game is meh... Game logic is broken and some ideas are just stupid. Can't say more without spoilers
