It's a fun game, for what it is, but the game makes some assumptions that you'll have to be willing to accept in order to enjoy it. One example is that many policies that increase health awareness or public education about diet also increase the number of people who eat "Plant based diets". In other words, the game is generally built on the assumption that eating meat is inherently bad for you and anyone smart and educated will stop doing it. There are other nitpicks like this that make me scratch my head, but I still enjoy the game.

how can the UX be still this terrible after 4 games? Game is not really all that deep, I expected more. Feels like you have grasped the rules after 1,5 hours and then its eating cake
I suppose I was spoiled by playing Suzerain first, but a straight strategy game could have also been excellent yet this game's fourth iteration falls so short. It plays both simplistically, unrealistically, and quite boringly. You are merely the president or prime minister, yet you have the absolute authority to pass any law, policy, or initiative you desire and adjust or cancel any standing one at your whim. Instead of negotiating with anyone and needing to deal with those compromises or fallout from using maneuvers to force policies through, you simply use "political capital" that you automatically earn each turn and accomplish anything you'd like. And once you pass all the policies you want, you have nothing left to do in the game. Adjusting the difficulty can slow that down, but it doesn't change the very simple nature of the game, and removes the few choices you have on a turn. Outside of specific policy complaints, certain decisions not affecting what they should, the bad art, and some typos, the game badly needs a wider gameplay loop, as so far it only contains selecting a policy, adjusting the slider, and then hitting approve and then ending your turn. The premise is neat and I wish more developers made political games, but I'd only recommend the game on a steep sale to screw around with for a few hours. As a neat bonus the music is nice, however.
I crashed the economy with tariffs, banned transgender surgery, and yet somehow had a 99% approval rate and steamrolled in the elections. Then, i fixed the economy. Call me Donald J. Trump
Bad if you expect a political simulator. Fun if you expect a political game.
