[B]Ch1&2:[/B] [B]Pros:[/B] The first two chapters of Deltarune are already on par with Undertale. They provide the same level of depth and mystery in the plot. This is exemplified by the fact that the game isn't even finished, so there's more time to speculate about what the rest of the game will hold. Deltarune's gameplay is basically an upgraded and more complex version of what Undertale had to offer, featuring multiple party members and more equipable items. It also has various routes you can do like in Undertale but in Deltarune style, they work a little differently than they do in Undertale. [B]Neutral:[/B] The one part of the game that I had some problems with was doing the [SPOILER]secret bosses and the weird route[/SPOILER]. Without help, I wouldn't have been able to figure out how to do them myself. The worst example of this is [SPOILER]the weird route[/SPOILER]. While doing it I started wondering, how did anyone find this in the first place? It seemed a little too obtuse to be able to find it on your own. I'm giving the game a 10 even though it isn't close to complete yet because Toby Fox has already more than delivered on the first two chapters and I have full trust that he will do the same for the remaining chapters. [B]Ch3:[/B] [B]Overall:[/B] Chapter 3 has some great moments in its story and gameplay that stand out, but it is also held back by other gameplay elements that make it drag and make me hesitant to replay it for the other routes. [B]Ch4:[/B] [B]Overall:[/B] Chapter 4 is great because it does a lot for each of the main characters, while also providing more insight on overarching plot and important concepts. [B]Ch5:[/B] [B]Overall:[/B] Chapter 5 is my favourite chapter of Deltarune so far. It's new characters are great. It gives a lot more interesting depth to existing characters. It has some very unique and fun fights and top tier gameplay gimmick. Even though it's the longest chapter by quite a wide margin, I didn't get bored playing it a single time.
