I got this for a dollar in some bundle. I was expecting a pretty forgettable roguelite card game, as the genre is crowded with many of them, but found myself pleasantly surprised with this one. Some of it is exactly what you'd expect. You've got your attacks and your blocks, weak and vulnerable, the usual. You've got ascending difficulty levels, a multitude of bosses, different characters (although you make a party of three), different paths to navigate the dungeon, etc. Beyond the genre basics, it shined for me most with its unique (as far as I've seen) ideas. My favorite of these ideas is probably card boosting, buffing up adjacent cards when you play a card from your hand. This alone adds a unique decision space in a way I hadn't experienced before. I also liked the grimey almost PS2 fantasy art style. Might not be for everyone but I dug it. There's some semblance of story that you uncover as you play, and it had some interesting ideas, but it wasn't my primary focus. Overall, great deal for the dollar I paid for it. Likely a good deal in general. I'm probably not gonna be playing it for hundreds of hours, but it had enough freshness that it's fun.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Iterates on the Genre Basics Deepest Chamber brings some interesting new gameplay mechanics to the typical card battler formula. Features such as giving meaning to where cards are located within a hand, abilities to move them around and powering up cards by playing adjacent ones. These are some refreshing takes on what you typically see in the genre; and I genuinely appreciated this level of creativity and risk taking. The game plays around a 3-member party system (6 different classes in total); each member having its own specific unlockable (though XP progression) card pools. If a specific member dies, those cards are removed from the deck until you manage to resurrect them. Each full clear unlocks the next higher difficulty option with added tweaks to make future progress harder. Other persistent meta progression comes from equipment unlocks with an RPG style equipment loadout screen. Unfortunately, I felt this was a little underdeveloped and could have benefited from even larger selection to hunt after. Finally, there are intra-run relics and consumable boost systems (potions). Deck build variety seemed pretty good; as I felt there was a lot of different ways you could approach each combination of 3 characters decks. Getting exactly which cards you really want in your deck can be a bit of a chore. Similarly, you get some good enemy variety between the regular, elite and boss battles. I ran into a few ambiguously worded cards that didn’t do exactly what I expected; but for the most part the cards work as you would expect. Controller support (including wireless Dualshock 4) is functional but its much easier to navigate the UI with a mouse. Overall I’m glad I played this one and its worth taking the time to check it out.
esse jogo eh muito ruim, dificil de mais, 0 game design
I consume a lot of deck builder roguelikes. This one really has something that stands apart and is noteworthy. The key innovations here: 1 - Cards which 'upgrade' as cards next to them are played 2 - Combine that with the ability of only SOME cards to slide around the hand. 3 - Capacity to completely break the game by over-tuning cards. It definitely wins on providing a new dynamic among card crawlers, however with the 'downside' of too often allowing you to become just unstoppably overpowered (except certain extreme bosses able to stop you). But I can't exactly call that a bad point, since I prefer when roguelikes let you make crazy builds instead of constantly blocking you from that... I suppose this can be voluntarily balanced with the optional difficulty increases (which I should probably experiment with, in case that balances-out the high OP potentials). I'm not sure why I don't play it more often, but once in a while I do bring it back up and always appreciate its original qualities for a few more runs... Overall, a unique flavor worth experiencing if you like the genre. It's not often one of these does something mechanically interesting like this did, so IMO it's worth showing support and checking it out.
Not for me. The progression system is actually horrible, the points you need to upgrade your characters is capped at 12 and you can't earn more regardless of what you do. This is just a personal take but it forces you to lose your first run which I just genuinely don't like. At least make it possible or don't make it obvious that it is a forced loss. As a deck builder its okay. However the characters feel very underwhelming. It does not explain the inventory system along side some other things which caused some pain for me. I like roguelites but I had more annoyance for this game then fun
Depths swallow brave souls Each descent tempers the will Light survives below
Great Roguelite Deckbuilder with interesting differing factors: - Card Boosting & Card Postioning - 3 Hero Party (Combining Different Decks) - RPG-Like Equipment - Potion Ingredient Collection & Brewing
I can't get past tutotiral. I tried to click on everything from shown first path and it doesn't allow me to move forward. So it means bad ui or bug at the start of the game.
