For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About
Amy’s brother is dead. She hadn't even seen him in years.
Thomas has always been a little eccentric. Obsessed with lucid dreaming and the concept of other worlds. All a little too fantastical for a small town vet like Amy herself.
But then Amy comes across his journals. And what at first seems like the ramblings of a troubled mind slowly begin to seem more and more plausible. Maybe her brother was right about everything. And maybe, just maybe… he isn’t actually dead.
Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is a point-and-click horror adventure from veteran developer scriptwelder, and a standalone entry into the cult classic Deep Sleep series. Guide Amy deeper into the world of dreams, using the power of her mind to shape her surroundings and overcome challenges and puzzles. Explore landscapes both beautiful and terrifying in your search to uncover the truth about her brother.
But there’s a darkness lurking within the mazes of these other worlds. It knows Amy is there. And it’s very, very interested in finding her.
The game features the exploration, atmosphere, narrative, and puzzles you've come to expect and love while also adding in a sneakily complex turn-based combat system, many items to be looted and used in various ways, and a skill tree to help you overcome these nightmarish challenges.
Solve puzzles and defeat foes using the ability to shape Amy’s dreams around her
Explore nightmarish and otherworldly environments with elements of randomized design
Improve and unlock new skills for Amy to help keep her alive and make her stronger
Encounter bizarre and dangerous beings who could be friend, foe… or both
Multiple endings and secrets to find, if you survive the beings hunting you
A brand new soundtrack from composer Christopher Carlone

This game was okay. The art is nice, it has a lot of "polish" but unfortunately the story and writing is terrible. The combination of randomization and resource management with a puzzle/adventure game was pretty creative and so a lot of the gameplay is more like a proof of concept of a new genre and not really as captivating or engaging as hoped. It's crazy that this game came out 4 months after Blue Prince, which did this mash up 1000x times better. The dev must have been working on this long before anyone had heard of Blue Prince, so I appreciate his attempt to meld these genres (and throw in combat as well). The combat system is simple and fairly fun and probably the best part of this game, but the whole resource management structure that it depends on isn't well balanced enough to make it all work. I really enjoyed the previous game 4 Days to Survive but unfortunately this one is kind of a dud.
A great sequel to the Deep Sleep Trilogy and some has plenty of nice callbacks to prior games of Scriptwelder! Absolutely would recommend playing the game if you're a fan of their games. As for the gameplay, it took a bit of getting used to, but I enjoyed the turn-based mechanics once I unlocked enough tools to properly get through the later stages. Would recommend the story difficulty setting if you don't want to be bogged down by the combat though.

the bugs that make quest iteams not spawn cost me 2hrs of my life ♥♥♥♥ this bug riddled trash fire of a mess i regret buying this but at lest i can brake the damn game thanks to downloadable save files and good old mods at lest the other games like don't escape 4 and the rest are superior in every way
This has been a fantastic addition and evolution to the Deep Sleep series that has made me laugh, made me cry, made me angry, made me panic, and most importantly will stick with me in the same way the original ending of The Deepest Sleep has stuck with me when I played it on Armor Games roughly 10-ish years ago. The puzzles are challenging but keep the same soul as the original series, the artwork is beautiful, the lighting is phenomenal, and the randomizing elements make replaying the game feel dreamlike in ways that feel very intentional to the game's story and themes.
I played the "deep sleep" and "don't escape" games on flash when I was a kid and I was very surprised to see that there was a sequel. It's a super polished game and the puzzles are difficult, but they give you all the information you need to solve them, so you feel really smart when you put it all together.
scripwelder has massively improved on their game presentation with this entry which you can see now that all items have a pixelated 3D model that you can inspect and some puzzles now include inspecting the items as a step but i do think this game is a step back in one meaningful way, that being the controls, combine, and use items which could be done with one button in don't escape 4 and some buttons now require longer presses to do something, which does get get a bit annoying when doing so with every item or trying to skip on a subsequent runs everything in this game takes just a bit of extra time to do although you can run while holding items which is pretty neat the items can seem plentyful and even somewhat wasteful at first but you can also end up with not enough of them in the end and there were three times where i ended up with not enough weapons to beat the final enemies or enemy due to items running out, so it was rather tiresome to redo levels in my case and it's not particularly satisfying to defeat enemies due to the slowness of these encounters the game is much more of a dungeon crawler, the levels can be a little different in their layout but for the most part they are fairly similar so that you get to see all the elements of a level and it also references don't escape 4 quite a bit, yet barry still ends up as a background character even though he ended up adopting cody in the true end and there's even a reference to razor in the infinite library even though they played a small part in that story the upgrades are a pretty nifty way to keep the game progressing, alongside with the enemies that scale but i did find some upgrades a bit odd like the "reach" upgrade which removes the "hasten enemies by 1 turn" debuff while also reducing their damage by one, so at that point they still become the worst weapons in a different way, and with even less risk and reward, so it ended up being the only upgrade not taken the style of the areas is really well done, and there are some spooky elements that work pretty well, but since it tries to relieve tension quite a bit, alongside plenty of action, it doesn't really end up being too scary did enjoy the game but there was a middle portion where it did slow down quite a bit, which needed a bit of replaying previous levels to get enough upgrade points, though that may also have been a matter of using the right build but things did speed up after that, so overall i would recommend this game as it is meant to be an extension of previous scriptwelder games, so you might as well get the full bundle of them
very cool, spooky game. not as scary as an RE game, obviously, but has an interesting story and cool puzzles.
Really nice combination of point and click and turn based combat. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Definitely recommend playing all of Scriptwelder's other games available on steam before this one though.
