Of all the top down survivor shooters out there, this is one of the best ones. Graphics are pretty good, sound is excellent and the gameplay very addictive. Get this game if you love the genre. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good game, grindy game. Many hours later the grind just hits a wall and I just can't be bothered anymore. Many hours out of a cheap game has been enjoyable though. Don't buy the DLC.
It's a cool game; there are some clever ideas implemented with the 1.0 release, but it's absolutely inundated with pointless grinding. Want to upgrade your weapons? You gotta do mastery runs, which you have to do multiple times to get a single weapon fully upgraded. Want gear? You have to run the same biome multiple times, only to get maybe one good item every 3-4 runs. The grind feels very boring and meaningless. I mean, some meta-progression is necessary, but how this game handles it doesn't sit right with me.
It is a good game in its core, but most upgrades feels insignificant, and there is a unnecessary grind on specialization to artificially increase the game's lifespan. And I don't see how we need a equipment system above all else. One sentence: a pile of miserable stats with only a few dopamine hits in between.
Feels like a cash-grab using the DRG name. No co-op is a baffling choice. Game is a mid-tier single player rogue-lite with boring unlocks/upgrades. Movement and mining feel clunky while the rest of the game tries to be Vampire Survivors.
All the runs feel pretty much the same. Once you've played a couple times you don't really see much more. I really tried giving it a chance and seeing if things changed once you leveled up your character more, but it just never hooked me. Most of the upgrades are boring incremental (+3% damage) changes instead of interesting decisions between unique choices. It feels like you make a decision when you pick which weapon to take, and then the next 15 minutes are just running in the same circles over and over again getting the obvious upgrades for your weapon. I borderline don't recommend the game, there's something under the cruft that _could_ be good, but it's not there as of yet.
I've had the game since launch and honestly, while I enjoy a lot about it, its a very stressful game. its not like VS. you can get quite easily ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by worldgen. the game is way way harder than it needs be. I actually find myself stone cold stopped from making any progress. im not bad at these games, as a matter in fact I'm usually pretty good. DRGS is just... absurd for how unrelenting the bug waves are, how little time you have to get to the pod, and just how anemic the upgrades are in practice vs the numbers on screen. it... frankly sucks that I cant recommend this to people because of that. :C
