One bunker. One table. One last game of Durak while the shelling gets closer. Deckline is an atmospheric war horror card game about what soldiers do when there is nothing left to do.

About
Your commanders have abandoned you at this position. You ran out of ammunition days ago. Nobody is coming. Your squad sits down at the table and plays Durak, just like old times.
Durak is Russia’s most popular card game. There is no winner. There is only one loser.
Attack, defend, and outsmart your opponents as you try to get rid of all the cards in your hand. The last player still holding cards becomes the Durak, which means the fool.
Nobody at the table will let that player forget it.
A deck of 36 cards. Each player starts with six cards. One suit is trump.
The attacker plays a card. The defender beats it with a higher card of the same suit, or with any trump.
Defend successfully and you become the attacker. Fail and you must pick up the cards.
Get rid of all your cards and you are safe. The last player still holding cards is the Durak.
It takes two minutes to learn. The game teaches you the rest as you play.

A real game of Durak. Full rules, no simplified version, and an opponent who plays to win.
Four walls and a card table. What is happening outside never appears on screen. You only hear it, and you keep playing.
The shelling gets closer. Something strikes the building above you. The table shakes and the cards slide. You pick them up and keep playing.
When the power goes out, you light the kerosene lamp yourself. It is on the table for a reason
Are your hands shaking? The pills next to the deck will help, but only for a while.
A global leaderboard and scoring system make every hand matter.
The setting recreates Eastern Europe in the 1990s and is inspired by firsthand accounts from people who lived through that time.

Pretty neat! My first exposure to Durak, which turns out to be a handy little pick-up game. As for the video game here itself (Deckline), it's a neat window dressing. I can't help as I'm typing this notice how far we have become as society when the horrors experienced by our elders in the trenches are now just a simulated, digital accompaniment to a card game played by youths in their leisure.
Yeah, flickering + screen shake = too much to handle and OFC no option to turn this off.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Relaxing, immersive, and surprisingly addictive. A fun card game with a dark chilling atmosphere.
Deckline was a game with a chance to great, but sadly it feels like a rushed mess 1. its missing MANY FETURES, diologe, more background sound, (SERIOUSLY IT REPEATS SO MUCH), a shuffeled deck (its the same each time) and it doesent even have a menu to check rules with a card game!! 2. it not fair, since of there being only one layout of card its allways unfairly in the oppents favor leaving the player at a unfun disadvantage, 3. if you get lucky you can beat this 5.00 GAME in like 20m overall, its not half baked, its not in the oven at all ):
If you like basic card games you’ll probably enjoy this. If not, it might feel too simple.
Kind of repetitive after a while, but I kept playing anyway so that says something.
