[Chilla's Art] Inunaki Tunnel | 犬鳴トンネル

Inunaki Tunnel by Chilla's Art sadly falls tragically short of the potential that the urban legend had. Cheap jump scares, boring puzzles, and an overall feeling of soullessness prevent the game from coming together as a polished, well rounded horror narrative. I'm sure that if you're a casual horror fan, you'll probably enjoy this game, and I have to admit that it isn't necessarily bad. What frustrates me, however, is the clearly wasted potential. There are some genuinely effective moments the camera triggering while something lurks in the background that the player can't see is a great idea, and the atmosphere can be quite strong at times. Unfortunately, it falls short in the end. The potential is definitely there, which is why I can only recommend that you play it and form your own opinion.

This is a game to experience because it builds the suspense slowly to the point that you want to know more about what's going on. Another master piece from Chilla's Art. 100% recommended, great job!

That was a really exciting experience! I liked the setting and the way the story unfolded. The game relies more on atmosphere than on cheap jump scares, which I really appreciated.

when i first played this game 05/01/2021 i got up to the clock part and then the game crash. rage after that and left it until 25/01/2026, after 5 to 6 years of leaving this game along. i can finally say its okay and pretty spookie. but the endings kinda suck ngl. 6/10 would wait another 6 years to play this again.
