tldr: just want gameplay? its below the review A pretty neat take on the deck based roguelike playstyle. I think the developer is currently re-tooling his whole game though. Might be awhile before a new update. What I enjoyed about the game:

Contains a scaling card system. The more you use a card in battle the closer it becomes to upgrading itself. Each card has 3 stages from tier 1 to 3.
Cards can be combo'd with each other, such as two basic attack cards, to create a special bonus that strikes the enemy for additional damage. It has this neat combo bonus system so you don't just have the basic "gain 4 armor, attack for 4" that most of these games have in place.
Enemies can have different types of intent that is clearly stated above their head. Based on what actions you perform this intent can actually change! If you drop an enemy below 40% health for example it can forget about defending and suddenly start a beefy attack. You have to read their abilities to see how to handle the situation.
You feel fairly strong as the game progresses giving a clear powering up system. This even goes a step further. If you lose your run without abandoning the run then you get to keep your upgraded basic cards. This allows you to jump back in the fight quicker and progress faster the next time around.
There is a gear crafting system that can change how your character is empowered through the run as well.
Contains an alchemy system so you can combine to cards permanently, this may have terrible consequences that gives you a bricked card!....or perhaps not? Maybe these bricked cards can also be combined with a very dangerous effect....hint hint.
Animations for 99% are very clean and the game is good to look at.
Okay enough with the good, what is bad?

The beginning levels go on for far too long. I was way more powerful than the entire second section before the eyeball boss. I think one of the forest sections needs to go.
The alchemy system will frustrate you in the beginning. I kinda sorta figured it out towards the end, but still it felt bad to brick your cards despite knowing that two copies of the bricked cards can be extremely powerful.
The amount of action points you get per turn until you get an AP boosting card feels highly restrictive especially since some fun cards cost 2 or even 3. Some even cost more than the AP you have. So if you don't get lucky you just have a worthless card.
There is what i'd amount to maybe....EA testers or alpha testers or patreons? or something like that which occasionally "run through" the background. Thats annoying, no.
In the end, I enjoyed what I played, but am waiting on the developer to show of his retooled version of the game. Run contains the entirety of the first zone including the first time you see an unkillable boss(intentionally unkillable, not like a bug or anything, its part of the story). https://youtu.be/MubKg1ZyQeA

One of the biggest disappointments of a game I've ever played. Looks very good for a card battler. However, you NEVER feel stronger the more you play it. I think you actually feel weaker. Level 1 is full of beasts and you have no cards that do bonus damage to beasts. So have fun fighting spiders and taking 5 minutes to beat one of them, only for your next battle to be against TWO spiders and you literally have no chance. Like, zero. There is no way to play around some of the enemies in the game. 4th battle of the game and I have to face 2 skeletons, one which hits for 10 damage and the other for 24. I have 80 MAX health and I can play THREE cards per turn. My character will literally die in three turns if I am unable to kill one of them. I do between 15 and 24 damage per turn, and that's if I drew all attack cards. But that will never happen. So I will just drag it out by trying to heal or defend but the numbers are simply against you and that is bad ******* design. Also the music is terrible it sounds like a cartoon of a fat person walking down the street.
Unplayable in current state, totally not balanced, not beatable, multiple bugs. Developer abandoned it, won't be fixed ever.
Unfortunately a design decision cost me my progress. There is no reason to have the progress deletion be a red X on the main menu, since when I am looking to exit the game I am looking for a red X on the main menu. Entire progress lost.
This game is a hidden gem. I am surprised it has not gotten more popular. It has some really neat things in it that I haven't come across in other card battlers. 10/10
Could have been a good game, but it was abandoned.
Carte troppo specifiche che non aiutano per niente in una partita.

Game is great, the changes to the Alc system seems intriguing, the only frustration is that its not finished and receiving a stone get discouraging honestly its the only thing that stops me going another round, also a library of failed combines with a colour like your combo gold outline would be awesome and engaging. overall an exceptional game... seriously!!!
