Nice game with slow progression from beating bosses (talents) and gathering equipment as you unlock more powerful characters, beat more bosses, and so on. Most characters only get decently strong after you've filled out most of their talent tree, so it's a bit of a grind. Nowhere near as bad as beating the chatty skeleton 33 times with Merris, which was presumably added when there was only the one act. Darkness (the way to make individual acts harder, and also to drastically increase drop rate) doesn't unlock until you beat the final act, and personally I think the first boss encountered is the hardest one on acts 2 and 3, so there was a lot of grinding commons from a freshly unlocked act (as the shop stops stocking act 2 mythics in favaour of act 3 commons as soon as act 3 is played). It would be nicer if it were unlocked sooner to increase the drop rates (and especially the ability to get uniques, which stay powerful) on the lower acts. Despite that, wide character variety and builds, most characters have something they're strong with, one character has a couple of easily accessible gamebreaking builds (Leaf).

For $7.00 dollars, it's an easy positive recommendation! Cultured character designs, fun & addicting Vampire Survivors-meets-Diablo-meets-Hades combat. Characters can Dash, and Dashing also activates one of your active skills, which is cool. Lots of unique builds/skill trees, plenty of itemization, and a "Darkness" system for ramping up run difficulty with modifiers (similar to Heat/Fear from Hades). I'd recommend increasing your Darkness ASAP, since it greatly increases your drop chances. There's 3 Acts (currently), devs shared there will be future Acts & more content. Excellent second monitor game - you can be playing while having YouTube on a second monitor. Ninh, Goddess of Earth is best girl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eztPpLNshkg
Would definitely play, It feels like a symbiosis of vampire survivors and Hades. Its good eats for any rogue-like enjoyer.
I love Roguelites. This is one of the best of them I have ever played. The visuals, the worlds you fight in and the enemy types are really fun and enjoyable. There is a lot of progression and content to sink your teeth into with various worlds and plenty to explore in them, character progression with item looting and loadout building and various different characters which are all very different. I love this game so much. I play it on my OLED Steam Deck and the colours and visuals just POP on that screen, it's perfect. I also play it docked on my 4k TV and it runs at 60fps flawlessly. A game that is always in my library and which I can easily play for a 20 minute run up to a few hours consistently ever since I bought it years ago.
