Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 29 → 1.14/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Years into a brutal lockdown, a once-thriving city lies in ruins, abandoned by its government and overrun by vicious, mindless infected. Those left behind are treated as human waste, discarded in a world that no longer cares. The government enforces the quarantine with ruthless precision, sending hazmat teams into the city to kill anyone who remains—infected or not—in an effort to contain the outbreak and secure something far more dangerous hidden within the city.

You play as Sam, a former urban planner, one of the few left alive. With intimate knowledge of the city’s crumbling infrastructure, Sam must navigate both the decaying streets above and the dangerous underground—a maze of trash-filled sewers, forgotten tunnels, and abandoned subways. But no matter where you go, danger awaits. The infected roam mindlessly, bandits hunt survivors, and government hazmat teams sweep through, eliminating anyone in their path as they carry out their deadly mission. Every step brings you closer to escape… or to your end.
Dead Trash is a dark, visceral first-person action game evocative of 1980s Video Nasties. With a heavy emphasis on brutal melee combat and grim exploration, Dead Trash will welcome you into its unsettling world, and you feel like you are being watched. Grab your hammer, collect your nerves and enter the mayhem.

I paid less than £2.00 for this, & for the price this isn't half bad. It's about 49% bad. There are a few little things about the game that irritated me early on; - The opening cut-scene shows you acquiring a gun, but you don't start with that gun. - Some of the trash bags can be broken for loot & some can't. You quickly figure out which particular sprite you are supposed to be attacking, but I still think it feels jank. It might be better just to remove the trash-bags that can't be broken. - If you turn left rather than right at the start then the first level is so difficult that it might actually be impossible, because it's the difference between having to play most of the first level either with a gun or without one. - Given the looter/scavenger theme of the game it felt weird that I couldn't pick up the weapons that the enemies attacked me with. Unlike Doom, or other games where the enemies clearly have the weapons grafted onto their bodies, the enemies in this game clearly have weapons that you should be able to pick up & use, & the theme & setting of the game make that stand out. - If you have glass windows in a game they need to be breakable. If you can't manage that, it's probably better not to have them; it just feels bad. - The player hand sprites look way too clean (& soft) for the character & setting. I was almost starting to have fun, but once I accumulated an arsenal of weapons I noticed that you can't cancel the reload animation by swapping weapons, & the reload animations are quite slow. This would result in situations were I would start reloading the shotgun, have an enemy get the jump on me, & I wasn't even able to swap to a different weapon to quickly deal with them. I also found myself being forced to re-walk the maze-like level for quite a long way due to falling off a ledge, & this seemed to be by design; this was not a fun experience.
Has me questioning experience, reality, meaning.
