Dead Rising returns with modern graphics in this Deluxe Remaster!
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Sep 8 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Performance is absolutely terrible at least at first, though I don't recall a patch it seems like it has gotten better. Replacing the cast was a bad call, bring back TJ. I wouldn't say it's worth full price, in all honesty since the originals port wasn't done until 2016 or so I'd recommend starting there. I was a big fan of the original in the xbox 360 days, although this game is definitely an acquired taste.
good game made better

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

now remaster dr2
An underrated franchise about slaying zombies mindlessly inside a mall with any object you could find. You play as Frank West, a photojournalist looking for the biggest scoop of of his life, but ended up in a mall infested zombie sh*tshow. Pros: Amazing Setting Fire mall music Great Sandbox Eye candy A lot of QOL improvement since the original Performance is pretty good (some people encounter issues though) Cons: Visual Bugs Side missions disappearing even if the timer is full NPC's sometimes have janky movement Overall, a great remaster from a game that came out almost 20 years ago.
After getting the true ending and reaching LVL 50, I can say that this game is quite fun for around $20. I highly recommend getting the digital deluxe edition as it includes 17 new outfits and mall music soundtracks that are enjoyable though novel. The digital deluxe edition does NOT include the "Dead Rising Original Pack". The updated graphics are the main selling point here. The new lighting and textures look fantastic while keeping the overall tone of the game the same. This game has exceptionally bad voice acting, the kind that gives a painful and confused expression on my face. There is a decent amount of censorship/changes that were made to the characters and the world. None of them effect gameplay but do effect the personality of the game. All of the banger Psychopath songs are still here. It is also far easier than the original. I made it through the entire game without dying, except to a certain chained to the ceiling psychopath fight several times. I think this "Remaster" is worth playing, but I would also highly recommend playing the original as well. The atmosphere, voice acting and all around tone is much much better.
Has some graphics issues but it runs fine 99% of the time
