About
Step into the world of divine horror in Dead by Daylight's first community-created Chapter: Chorus of Sin. Play as The Judgment, a divine Killer sent to cleanse the world in flame, and Aurora Stardotter, a resolute Survivor leading her people out of the ashes.
Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin
Violent destruction guided by divine purpose. Scientific reason tempered by unshakable faith. The vengeful meets the virtuous in Dead by Daylight: Chorus of Sin, an original Chapter featuring a new Killer, The Judgment, and a new Survivor, Aurora Stardotter.
The Judgment
A member of the Celestial Echelon, The Judgment metes out divine punishment throughout the cosmos. When the people of Terra Primus aspired to godhood, The Judgment answered their sins with fiery retribution, razing their cities to the ground with pillars of divine light. So began a decades-long apocalypse that turned their paradise into a wasteland.
POWER: DIVINE LIGHT
Channel a pillar of Divine Light that injures Survivors and applies Heresy.
KILLER EFFECT: HERESY
Survivors gain Heresy when hit by Divine Light or by taunting The Judgment. Heretics suffer from special Skill Checks when repairing Generators, regressing their progress when the Great Skill Check zone is missed.
KILLER SUB-REALM: EXILE
Instead of using a Hook, downed Heretics may instead be banished to Exile, where they must avoid dangerous Seeds of Punishment or risk speeding up their demise. While there are Heretics in Exile, The Judgment will become Zealous, empowering Divine Light.
If a Heretic has two Hook states when they are downed, The Judgment may choose to kill them instead of sending them to Exile.
KILLER OBJECT: SHRINES OF JUDGMENT
Shrines of Judgment will spawn throughout the Trial. Survivors may Repent at these Shrines to cleanse themselves of their Heresy or use them to Liberate any Heretics trapped in Exile.
The Judgment’s Perks
Hex: Under Your Thumb: The first time a Survivor gains a Hook state, ignite a Dull Totem that limits their Haste.
Lay Waste: Whenever you damage a Generator, it will regress faster the further it has been repaired.
Celestial Witness: Briefly reveal your Obsession's aura when they are at a distance.
Aurora Stardotter
A member of the Searchers, Aurora was meant to be executed with her brethren in Ultracapitalis. But when The Judgment unleashed its fury on Terra Primus, Aurora escaped into the chaos, using her gift of star-reading to lead others to safety. As the Judgment returned time and time again to cleanse the world further, Aurora met with it to plead the plight of her people, only to find herself cast into the depths of Exile instead. It was only by the grace of a group of survivors that she was liberated into a world of endless fog.
Aurora Stardotter's Perks
Fruits of Your Labor: Accumulate tokens for each completed Generator. Finishing a Generator's repairs briefly grants you Haste and increases your accumulated healing for each token you possess.
Salvation's Cry: While being chased by the Killer, both of your auras will be briefly revealed to fellow Survivors. Your teammates' auras will be visible to you in turn.
Boon: Steadfast: Create a Boon Totem that causes Generators in range to regress slower and be repaired faster.
Exclusive Chapter Cosmetics
The Chorus of Sin Chapter includes an exclusive cosmetic for both characters: The Judgment's Peridot Incarnation and Aurora's Fate's Chosen. These are only available as part of the DLC and cannot be purchased separately.

BHVR did what BHVR does. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the chapter up and didn't listen to feedback at all. I'm not even gonna touch on the PR ♥♥♥♥ they're pulling with the Discord livestream, that's a whole 'nother can of worms, but that is also in line with BHVR's past. There are bugs everywhere, bugged animations - areas in some realms literally give you network hitches like with the last anniversary event's pallets, new arbitrary UI changes (that look worse btw, and not the first time they've done it.). who knows what other new bugs are prevalent right now because of the update, there are new bugs every new patch almost without fail.. AND to top it off, the actual killer is still very hard, weak for the effort put in, AND is also very perk reliant. Not to mention the perks are mid and situational at best on both sides. Whatever, it's nothing new and I'm the idiot who keeps buying their crap. Just know they're still on the same BS they have been on for as long as I can remember.

I'm gonna be so real, this is a really fun chapter and most of you complaining that this killer is impossible to hit their power with need to practice more. Also, you literally voted on the design you don't get to complain now
Recomendo ;)
a friendly reminder that this is what 75% of the dbd community voted for, the killer is not weak at all and can easily pressure and hold a 3 gen so that "nerf" wasn't anything. the killer is fun to loop especially the ones who know how to flick with her its like a 50/50 situation either you dodge it or you get downed. im putting a dislike because i have so many things that i hate about this chapter and this update for: - you still haven't fixed the bnp skill check bug and other bugs you know dam well of. - when she sends me to Brazil i wanna kms because the amount of noise pollution is WILD while waiting for my teammate to get me out, her entire power sound effects is annoying lmao she doesn't have a cooldown (which is understandable) but that one add on that doubles the sound is lowk killing me. - when my teammate gets sent to Brazil there are only 3 hooks that are only in the corner and the killer KNOWS where its at, maybe spread the hooks? especially on swamp map, OH and swamp map needs a rework. other than me getting overstimulated over the amount of noise pollution this killer has i think its an ok concept and visuals, i think its time to move on from ancient eras and bring something relatable/refreshing a newgen concept, all kill chapters were successful back to back for a reason.
能做出这种臭鸡巴屠夫你的冯冯也得死一死了我说实话
Reviewing characters for this game is always difficult because, generally, it revolves mostly around the Killer with some consideration for the perks - a bit of mindfulness to the survivor model, and a pinch of forecasting potential cosmetics. What usually isn't considered, which probably will, is future changes - or the lore. This chapter is a strange mixed bag - especially due to the latter two aspects. When it comes to Stardotter, it's refreshing to have a designated grandma in the fog. She's really neat and a fun addition to the roster. That being said, her clothes are all D tier. It looks like the average "throw gaudy stuff and baubles all over" fantasy clothing approach. Her cosmetics aren't very promising, and probably won't get better. This is where the lore comes into play. Where characters have their background influence their clothing (Jeff having punk rock outfits, Meg having some athletic options, Dwight being the king of silliness, Zarina having some high fashion and/or journalist options, etc.) Stardotter is fantasy Jesus Christ as written by a college dropout. You're not going to get "Cookie baking grandma" skins, you're going to get manga inspired "holier than thou art" wise woman skins because this character was clearly someone's baby. Her lore is even written like some knockoff bible versions such as ( "Then she saved everyone and looked cool, Obama was there" - MarySue 6:7 ) It's painful to read and you're probably not going to see punky alt skins like we saw with Taurie. Stardotter is a novel addition if you already have a full roster (or just like the dignified lady aesthetic) but you're not really going to miss her. The perks, which are runner up for importance, are not very good. On the survivor's side you have: - BOON: Repair generatiors faster! - the buff is less that Resilience and only slightly better than Deja Vu. You will be spending ~16s blessing a totem to get it and the Killer can (and often will) snuff it when patrolling the generator. While it can be a nice bonus at times, consider the fact that it adds a second of progress for every ~12 seconds you spend repairing. To earn back the 16 seconds you spent to bless the totem, you'd have to spend 16x12.5 seconds (200) to get it back. A boon can effect a generator, 2 if placed well, and 3 if RNG is on your side - but you're almost never going to have the boon up and getting 200 consecutive seconds of repair action going - even when split among teamates - in a way that benefits your team. This perk is a beginners trap and is almost always worse than nothing. - Get healing and speed whenever you finish a generator! - probably the best on offer, but also not good. True, if you get the final gen you are awarded with a full heal and a very slick haste to outrun most killers. Thing is, it's not very useful for the first 2 generators and only activates when YOU pop the gen. It's a gamble that pays off sometimes, but there are perks that can more reliably get you out of trials. If you really want to get the free health state and burst of movement speed, just use Adrenaline (which is free) - this is situational Adrenaline spread out across the match maybe perhaps sometimes. - Entering chase you glimpse at other survivors, other survivors get a glimpse of the chase! - Training wheels for babies. If you're brand new to the game this is a pretty nifty info perk that helps you avoid teammates, gun for a protection hit - and lets allies know how to avoid the chase and/or swoop in to protect you. At higher levels of play, this is basically useless. People are mentally tracking folks and will know where most people are when a chase starts, they will have a general idea of where the chase is located from terror radius alone, and - most importantly - they will have the skills to adapt if your chase cuts through their area. This is the kind of aura reading that would be best later in a chase rather than at the beginning, but here we are. This will be in everyone's collective garbage bins by the end of the month. So, overall, not great. Fruits Of Your Labor isn't the worst, it's just not very strong. For the Killer: - Twice a minute, either glimpse the person you dont want to chase if they are far away, or a far away person becomes the one you dont want to chase - as someone who's played this game for thousands of hours over years. what? The only way this perk works is trying to synergize it with others (Like Nemesis) but why why why why why. How often will you benefit from maybe sometimes perhaps occasionally seeing a passing glimpse of a survivor on the other side of the map going to do for you? Moreover, the only time you really want to push the obsession super far away is to better preserve resources with STBFL or Dying Light... on its own, it's really not worth much of anything. Never use this perk. - Delayed Hex that, while active, lets you know when someone uses an exhaustion perk and kneecaps the effectiveness of their buff to where they can no longer outrun you - Dang! That's actually pretty good! Sure, there are sometimes (plenty of times) when this is basically useless. All that needs to happen is everyone brings healing/genrush perks and you have a wasted perk slot. When it works though, it turns a guaranteed escape into a guaranteed hook. Moreover survivors HATE this perk and will stop helping allies or repairing just to snuff it. Maybe not the best or most general perk out there, but in its niche it can't be beat. Quality addition to the game and a point towards the DLC - Generators regress a little faster sometimes - While not sexy, it gets the job done. At first I was skeptical, but I've seen gens melt with this perk from nearly complete to basically nothing. The results will surprise you! Worth the buy in. Finally - the main course - The Judgement Very, very, very strong. Arguably the strongest killer in the game. It's basically Dead By Daylight on easy mode. I haven't had so many 4k matches on a killer's release since - well - Jason - but that mostly went away when survivors got smart and started playing better. Here, once you get the hang of the power, damaging survivors from halfway across the map is cake. You can flick things around and corner them in chase, you can deny objectives and interrupt healing. This is up there with the strongest killers in the game. The biggest drawbacks include good survivors knowing how to juke and making the power less reliable, but you can pin them with practice and know how... the ability for multiple simultaneous unhooks sounds like a game ender, but if you're to the point where multiple people are hooked and you're positioning to knock them out from afar - you've basically already won. Aesthetically this is one of the most badass killers we've gotten and the mini-mori is addictive as hell. Skins in the future are going to be incredible even if the writing is sadly sophomoric. I can't tell you how lame and uncreative "What if good... was bad!" is, and how ham-fisted the theme truly is in the presentation. Overall. If you're here to play the Judgement. 100% YES GET THIS DLC. Our resident fallen angel is very fun, super powerful, and will probably be getting some serious nerfs with how easy 4ks are. If you're here because the granny survivor looks cool. Yeah, she's cool, but it's not the end of the world. If you're here for the perks. Don't be.
As (almost) always Behavior releases an OP Killer who brings tons of Bugs and Glitches instead of fixing the Game and repairing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Code. Love it
Visually, this chapter looks great. the design of the killer (the Judgement) and the new survivor (Aurora) are fantastic. Musically, the chapter is standout. this chapter easily has my favorite music. The gameplay, however, is miserable. the Survivor's perks are underwhelming or situational at best. Nothing particularly astounding. The killer on the other hand, makes for some of the least enjoyable matches i have ever played. All previously established gameplay tactics will not work for survivors. The judgement can hit at a distance though walls and on multiple levels. Flashlight saves are almost completely ineffective due to the exile power, which will be 90% of how judgement hooks people. In exile, survs are gifted with a joyless minigame that is ultimately is meaningless. Only people not used to her play method will do poorly with her, and she's really not all that hard to get used to. Only effective way to play against her is to rush gens. Its an unfun tactic, to be sure, made worse when the last 3 gens are too easily patrolled by her massive map control. Spam her beam at gens and three kills a match are pretty much given. Four kills more often than not. I would recommend giving this chapter a pass (a recommendation i have never insisted for any other chapter), but even if you don't buy this, in survivor games, you will be doomed to play against the judgement anyway. This is a bad killer for DBD, bad for new players especially, and generally a disappointing chapter for one of my favorite games.
