Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 6 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Got this game as I remember as a kid dying to the enemy and wondering what the heck im doing. now im a grown man dying to the enemy wondering what the heck im doing XD 10/10 nostalgia and immersion.
Does not work. Stuck on main menu and black screens. I'm sure there is a community mod that will help me experience this piece of gaming history, but the modders did not get any of the money, Ubisoft did.

Ubisoft is destroying games, so no more ubisoft games for me
this game is legitness having finished all 3 campaigns, i can safely say that ghost recon was ahead of its time, these games hold up pretty much perfectly 25years later, if you slapped modern graphics, and first person player models, it would be impossible to tell that the actual game was made 25years ago.
It’s been 25 years since this gem first dropped and it still absolutely SLAPS! It is incredibly eerie how accurately the original Ghost Recon foreshadowed real-world geopolitical events. Pretty sure Tom Clancy had a time machine, because he nailed the 2008 Russo-Georgian conflict seven years before it happened. The modern-day tactical warfare games we see today only exist because games like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon built this town. It's 2026 and the atmosphere is still top-tier, the music is iconic, and the gameplay truly makes you feel like a commando deep behind enemy lines. Sure, the graphics look like they were rendered on a toaster by today's standards, but the game is pure lightning in a bottle. It's ambitious, massive in scale, and has a story that honestly belongs on the big screen. Word of advice: do NOT play this on Veteran or Elite right out the gate unless you enjoy digital masochism. The enemy AI possesses literal X-ray vision, will snipe you through dense fog from a mile away, and completely deletes any sense of fairness. Meanwhile, your own squad AI starts off with the situational awareness of a potato. Where is the fun in that? Play on Recruit first. This allows for a much more balanced firefight while you level up your squad's attributes. Once they actually learn how to aim, stealth, then you can attempt the harder modes. Since the game is old enough to rent a car, you might have some issues getting it to run on modern rigs. If it crashes when loading a mission, just download the d3d8.dll file and drop it into the main Ghost Recon folder. If you are playing on an ultrawide monitor, grab the "Widescreen Fixer" so it doesn't look like a stretched accordion. Now you're good to go! 10/10. "Goodbye!"
I realize this game is old, and I might get autistic dopes who don't leave the house give me sh!t... but this game sucks. Forget the fact that enemies have perfect aim and can 1 shot you, they blend in with the outdated pixel graphics of the map. You will die before you even see them. The keyboard layout is kind of wonky too, but that's nothing compared to what I mentioned first. I don't expect a Call of Duty type game where you run in guns blazing, and I like the idea of being "tactical", but this is garbage.
Man this game was so ahead of its time that it predicted Russia's invasion of Georgia and also predicted Russian aim kids who can one-tap you at 150 meters.
SUPER glitchy
This game was wayyyyy ahead of its time. The AI are hard to beat and you can't just go around and run like COD. You have to think of your strategy which make this game really enjoyable.
Let's be clear: this game did not age like fine wine. It aged more like vinegar mixed with manure. The AI is all over the place, and for all the wrong reasons. The enemy's aim is so godlike it feels like playing CS:GO on a cheater server. You raise your head or peek around a corner... BLAM! You're dead. One shot, one kill. Random mooks standing in the open, armed with an unscoped AK-47 that's been around since the Vietnam War, are perfectly capable of headshotting your elite sniper clad in ghillie, hidden in a bush 500 yards away. On the other hand, your teammates are pure, concentrated idiocy: they will remain in the open or come out of cover in the middle of a firefight. Sometimes they will cross your line of sight at the worst possible time. They will block doorways and won't move for any reason. They seem unable to stay focused: you'll often see enemies stroll right in front of them while they look in the opposite direction for no apparent reason. You will soon get accustomed to the red message signaling that one of your comrades has kicked the bucket, usually in the stupidest way imaginable. This becomes even more frustrating when you realize that saving and loading is an exercise in patience (a.k.a. a pain in the ass). You can save whenever you want during a mission, but you can't load. You have to quit the mission, go back to the main menu, select Campaign, select the mission, select the save file, load it, and... TA-DA! You're finally ready to get shot again. Why? Because f**k you, that's why! Early 2000s devs probably thought this game had to be played as some sort of hardcore experience: something like "if you die, you either go back to the beginning or push through and deal with the consequences". There are no mods or patches (AFAIK) that address this (minor-ish) issue, just a few workarounds that might save you some time. I don't think many people out there finished this game without save-scumming the ♥♥♥♥ out of it, but that's just the way it is. In other words, it takes A LOT of patience to play this game 25 years later... ...however, that said, it can also be a rewarding experience. This game is a relic from a long-lost, pre-Call of Duty era when games didn't need to appeal to everyone. They didn't have to offer the most bombastic and cinematic experience possible. They could simply be made for the people who actually loved the genre. You won't find a heavily scripted action game here, and that's okay. What you will find is a challenging, clunky, 25-year-old tactical shooter with some very noticeable issues. You may not like it, but it's a window into a gaming world that simply doesn't exist anymore.
