Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Well, this was pretty depressing! And I mean that in a nicest way possible. Day Repeat Day is a story-based match-3 game — and it's not like those mobile games where you have the most basic plot possible. The story is about working for a big corporation while also managing your social life. You talk with people in chats and sometimes you need to make some big decisions: they affect your life (well... at least some parts of it, you'll get it later) and your relationships. Also there is a lot of satire and political commentary, and that's the central point of the story. I've seen some people saying the thoughts behind the commentary aren't bringing anything new to the table. I have to agree, but also like... it's not bad. Satire is the golden part here, so I definitely recommend you checking all the Hyperlinks and trying to talk with the CEO (yes, it's possible!). All in all, I think that for it's price Day Repeat Day gives you an interesting experience. A depressing one, possibly, if you're someone like me. But it's worth it, I promise you. Welcome to the job, buddy. Hope it treats you well! The weirdest Candy Crush clone I've ever seen
It's brilliant. The storytelling through messaging gives an eerie vibes of an inescapable cycle of life and the match-3 underlines the routine behind it.
That is certainly a hidden gem. Game that seems very simple on the surface but offers a lot of deeper level secrets.
An incredibly melancholic about, what else, living under capitalism. This one got far deeper under my skin than I ever thought it would, and...well, I'm in a funk, now, obviously. Still, an incredible and incredibly strong experience that I recommend, assuming you have the bandwidth to handle uncomfortable feelings.
Work work work! I don't know where this game is going, but I got a promotion and I'm working extra hours to make an impression to the corporate heads! I'm sure they'll treat me right, because I'm such a good employee.
My Experience I can't say I've spent a tremendous amount of time playing Match 3 games. From time to time I'll download one on my phone, but I typically quit as soon as the difficulty of a level begins necessitating that I purchase power-ups or watch ads to "earn" them. Day Repeat Day wraps a compelling story around this style of gameplay, which made me more open to diving in. I enjoyed completing the Match 3 challenges in the game, and found the artwork used for all of the symbols to be quite visually pleasing. I also liked the visual design of the JokiJoki operating system, and found the text message chains to rather closely resemble those on modern phones. Instead of trudging through the Match 3 levels to hear more of the story, I actually found myself trudging through the story to get to the Match 3 levels. It's not that the story was necessarily bad (although it could be considered a little heavy-handed) - it's just that often there wasn't a dialogue option that matched the sentiment I wanted to express. As a side note, I also didn't like the unsettling videos that the game displays between days. But altogether, Day Repeat Day is a very polished package that I enjoyed playing. Perhaps I'll find myself dipping my toes in more Match 3 experiences in the future.

An urgent reminder that there’s no ethical match-3 under capitalism, Day Repeat Day jarringly pairs an off-brand Bejewelled with neoliberal ennui to somewhat interesting effect. Beyond easy potshots at Silicon Valley’s glassy-eyed optimism and the coming AI dystopia, the game interleaves progression through a linear series of puzzles with understated stories of frustrated dreams and quiet despair. It’s nothing that hasn’t been done better by the likes of Fight Club and Mr Robot, but Day Repeat Day joins recent anti-capitalist indies like Neo Cab and Cloudpunk in vaguely yearning for a less inhumane socio-economic order without digging into the causes or possible solutions. Arguably trying to have its cake and eat it by offering the simple pleasures of a match-3 while arching an eyebrow at the way predatory companies use these formats to get their hooks into our dopamine receptors, Day After Day’s iteration is simple, bordering on plain, and relying perhaps a little too heavily on the RNG. For all that, the puzzles are engaging, and break up the text-based narrative to good effect. It’s a simple, somewhat repetitive affair that’s probably better-suited to mobile than a sit-down PC gaming experience. Certainly the game never achieves the narrative complexity of Eliza, which although a straight visual novel charts similar terrain, or the heights of the classic Papers, Please, which more successfully braids together busywork simulator and social critique. All of the titles mentioned in this review are well worth checking out, but for those interested in shuffling around tiles while awash in anomie, Day Repeat Day is a touching curio. Maybe just get it for your phone instead of on Steam.
A short, surprisingly deep narrative-driven match-3. Great for those who enjoy relaxing gameplay and a gripping story that reacts to your choices.
